How on earth did De Bruyne get a point for a clean sheet when he was only on the pitch 70 odd minutes as well ?

Cheers for putting this together, Sandy, I'd really like to see this format again sometime in the future. An amazing piece of work, mate!
Certainly will do mate, assuming everyone else has enjoyed the format too! And if anyone would like to suggest any improvements if I do run something like this again, I'm open to ideas.

How could you improve on perfection ?
Leave it as it is except ban Man Utd players from being chosen (not that they would have score many points this week).

Well, that's a turn up for the books - I actually won!
Bad luck gazza - couldn't have been closer.
On to the semi (actress, bishop, again)
Cheers Sandy

Update following last night's match:
QF1
The Maccnificent Five 30-27 Market Harborstars
*Dier only scored two, meaning The Maccnificent Five go through
QF2
Hyde Are Bad 23-23 Sugar Sugar
*Replay this weekend
QF3
Not Ep-worth The Money 28-27 Wile E. Kouyate
*Not Ep-Worth The Money already through
QF4
Shed Town FC 17 - 19 County Benno Blues
*Agbonlahor only lasted half the match, scoring one point which isn't enough to beat County Benno Blues who progress to the semi-finals.
The draw for the semi-finals will take place later, but here are the numbers to watch out for:
1. The Maccnificent Five 2. Hyde Are Bad / Sugar Sugar 3. Not Ep-Worth The Money 4. County Benno Blues

Thanks, Mhh - and hard luck on going out despite a good points-tally.
I reckon that I must owe Ayew a pint for having netted Villa's consolation last night!

Well played, Benno Blues; no regrets. Best of luck in the semis. Well done to all those who took part.
Brilliant quiz, Sandy. Thank you!
You must have put many hours in pulling this together - what with a full-time job, two sons and Mrs Sandy to care for at home; and taking Ollie to EP! How do you do it?
