Just a bit of fun I'm happy to run after every game...if people want!
Basically, using ceefers idea on the NFU Match Thread...if you went to the game, you get your chance to rate the referee. I will then give add their score to a table at the end of the season using their average scores.
I will close each poll on the morning of our next game.
Feedback would be appreciated...!

Surely there has to be an option for 'Saw off his tackle with a plastic knife'?!

pathetically whistle happy, which allowed ferriby to just disrupt the game. didn't adequately punish the few bad tackles. decided to play until they scored.
i'll see sandy, and after my own recent hand-burning, raise him a red-hot cottage pie slam-dunked onto his family jewels (ref's, not sandy's).
just for good measure, we'll heat it for forty five minutes, then give it another five, and then a further two for good measure...

Good initiative, Fudgie - and a nice, easy decision to kick off with!

Over the last 59 years of watching County, he must be in the top ten worst referees I've ever seen.

od one BF. Easy one this - one of the poorest refs I have ever seen and Ive seen him at Gainsborough, Harrogate and County last season. What beats me is every match has a referee assessor, so what happens to their reports? What actions are taken, because looking at some refs it looks like nothing. They appear to be allowed to carry on regardless.
Poor reffing costs points... we only have to look at Liverpool v Bournemouth where Liverpools goal should have been clearly disallowed; no ifs, no buts... if Bournmouth get relegated by 1 point, if we miss the play offs by 1 point it can be put down to clown refereeing. Bad decisions are costing clubs.
On the positive side the ref who officiated at our away match at Brackley deserves commendation. He took no nonsense and reffed how it should be done & played fair for both sides. Couldnt really fault him at all.

The days when we used to have the likes of Joe Worral, George Courtney, Roger Milford & Keith Hackett in the middle at EP seem far, far away now.

Elleray is just a whistle-happy, biased, Harrow tw##! and a pompous, posho one at that... will never forgive him! Nor me, matey, three times I saw him referee us, and three times he screwed us over. If I remember correctly, Jonesy had a pop at him in his book 'On The Edge', too?

and elleray himself said in an interview (or possibly his autobiog) that he was surprised to get a hostile reception at EP for the boro game, and it took him a while to understand why.
there are poor or incompetent reffing performances, and then there are those in which you send off chris beaumont (!!!) for a violent tackle...

He didnt ref yesterday instead was linesman at Carlisle vs AFC Wimbledon in league 2.

And the good news this week is Marsden is not appearing at EP today.
He's 2nd assistant at Morecombe v Notts County.
