Third and final limerick for a week on Saturday. You know the format by now:-
To "The Boro" on Liberty Way. Our good start we must not betray. Just a mile down the road From my old abode !! ......................................................
Hope you haven't given up the will to live and have decided to have a go at this one as well.
Normal service will be resumed on my return (I make that Stalybridge).
Cheers, have fun.

I only saw Nuneaton play at their old ground when I lived down there, in the days of the Borough.
I believe that they share this place with the rugby team (which did not go down well with the egg chasing fraternity).
And ...... Yes, that was when I was young and grey.

PS ----- I am now sat about 2 miles away from the Gateshead ground on the next stage of the round-Britain slog we are undertaking. Ticking off the non league grounds as we pass them.
Chalked up Lincoln and Darlington most recently.

Chalked up Lincoln and Darlington most recently. Will the latter of those have been the 25,000-capacity white elephant Arena, Lennie?! Stranger than fiction, that place...

The Darlo stadium is indeed the white elephant which is home to the rugby union team, I believe.

Time for a decision, Archie.
Back home from an 800 mile, triangular, anti-clockwise slog of the country. Normal service will be resumed asap.
Cheers, folks.
