But do either of you pronounce it with the ‘th’ is the middle?

my mum reckons they'd intended to shorten it to 'tony' but my great gran always called me ant and that stuck, so i never get my sunday name. Mine's without the 'H', but I do get Tony in work, Ant from most others and my full name from my Mum - annoyingly!

nope. mine is also without the 'h'. we're in a minority. i (obviously) prefer it. it's cleaner. i do occasionally get people pronouncing it 'anthony' and constantly get it spelled like that in work emails, despite the fact that my work email address is 'antony...'
a number of my colleagues (the ones i'm closer to) call me 'tone' just for the wind up.

I remember back in the day when Alby was with us, I used to go in the 'Hungries' butchers and sandwich shop on Castle Street for some lunch on my days off work and I saw him a few times in there getting a bacon butty with one or two other players.
Every time I saw him in there he asked whoever was serving him to "cut the fat off", so maybe it's that healthy attitude that's helped him keep playing for so long?
Bit of a sh*t story, but true nonetheless.

Fylde sign Tom Walker on a 2.5 year deal, paying Salford a fee.
Danny Rowe is placed on the transfer list at his own request, causing the Fylde chairman to shed some salty tears once more in a press release.

Fake club, no fans, no history - no class.
Clearly signing players from under our noses to spite us.
Haythornthwaite can chuck all his money at that sh*t hole for me. You can slap as much make-up on a Pig as you can, but underneath it all it's still a f***ing Pig!

honestly couldn't care less if that's the arrangement two fake clubs want to come to and the player is interested. they're all welcome to it, however i will allow myself some sour amusement if one or preferably all of them fail.
