Our pre-season preparations, in Tour de France style, enjoy a 'rest day' today - ahead of the next friendly challenge, a short Friday night trip to Macc.
Shan't be needing to set off too early for this one myself! Post all the usual malarkey here...

What !!! No overnight stop on the way Macca.
I hear there are some decent landladies around there.

County confirm our status as pride of Cheshire in a thumping 10-0 win. Either that or we lose 2-1.

I hope we win 10-0 as I will be attending this one as it's only down the road from me.

Whereabouts are you based, benno?
Does this mean that we shall need to become Hatters in Macc 1 and 2?!

Crikey - far away from where the explosion took place?
If you find yourself near the press box tomorrow, do call by and say hello!

Far enough away not to have had to many problems, but can see all of the smoke and had a power cut on the morning that it happened so got away lightly compared to the poor people that worked there and lost there lives, very very sad indeed there has been a really strange atmosphere since it happened, never experienced anything like it, so many emergency services involved, they really do a fantastic job.
If I can find it I'll pop my head in and say hello.

The last few days must have been unreal, mate. A truly awful tragedy.
News just in that a third body has been recovered.

Really strange few days, never seen so many people around Bosley, seeing the devastation on the t.v is one thing, when you drive past on the main road and from the top of Bosley cloud it looks even worse, my thoughts really do go out to the families, I suspect that the owners of the Mill are in for some trouble is very suspicious that they are keeping a low profile.

There will be a minute's silence ahead of tonight's game, in memory of the victims of the Bosley tragedy.
Good gesture by Macc.
