Despite Jools' best efforts last night, the show was bloody awful. As for Ray Davies, best not comment on that performance. The rest were rubbish too.
Very disappointed.

Agree SirRog, normally a fan for this but found it all a bit stale. I will own up and say that I enjoyed Gary Barlow's live show more. Jools - the gauntlet has been laid my friend.

jools loses his normal edgy mix for the NYE crowd. ray davies, like most people who wrote genius things in the sixties and seventies*, wrote genius things in the sixties and seventies; and there isn't a great deal left to say.
*with the possible exception of 'come dancing'.
