How does one satirise the clown? This from a man who's Government's policies mean that millions of children are experiencing poverty and routinely do without breakfast. A man who famously crowed to his audience comprising residents of "impoverished" Tunbridge Wells that, as Chancellor, he had amended the funding formula to shift money from some of the poorest parts of the country to some of the richest. Scumdog Millionaire. I noticed Farage trying to cover his arse the other day when, after having had it pointed out that his suggestion that Sunak couldn't possibly be patriotic because he is from a family of immigrants was at best a dog-whistle, at worst a racist trope by suggesting that what he really meant was that Sunak was too wealthy to be PM. Err, yeah, right Nige, ya mealy-mouthed gobshite! One assumes that if there is a point above which one becomes too wealthy, there is also a point at which one is not wealthy enough. In other words, the ideal PM would be somewhere in between, in fact someone like himself. Me? I'm with Samuel Johnson on the subject of patriotism. He described it as the last refuge of the scoundrel and looking at the assorted low-life's like Farage on offer this time round it's hard to argue.

They're just leeches, the lot of them.
They knock me sick, and so does anyone that votes for them next month.

You may like this description of a thoroughly repulsive individual Christ on a f***ing bike. Other than that, I'm lost for words.

I suspect Kuenssberg is getting twitchy because as the Tories continue to founder in the polls there are more and more suggestions that Farage will assume the leadership of whatever the Tory Party becomes after the election. It all presupposes that Farage wins in Clacton and that the Tories are heavily defeated (one poll this weekend suggests them winning as few as 74 seats). Not sure about the first as I loathe Farage with a passion and so don't follow what he's up to but I'd be surprised by the second although one can't rule out a catastrophic and therefore existential defeat. If Farage does become leader of some kind of amalgam of the remains of the Tories and Reform, they'll be in opposition for years.

Tom Walker is absolutely brilliant, isn't he, and he served that sorry bunch a huge slice of Pie with this one. I was sat near a guy who was the absolute double of him on a flight to Spain in May, and I was really tempted to ask him if he was who I thought he was. Of course, it wouldn't have been him, but he really was a dead ringer!

Just looking at when this thread started, and we thought in 2015 things had gone badly… good riddance to bad (the worst of putrid, disgusting, filthy, pompous, selfish, greedy, disrespectful, classless, hypocritical, incapable) rubbish.

Just looking at when this thread started, and we thought in 2015 things had gone badly… good riddance to bad (the worst of putrid, disgusting, filthy, pompous, selfish, greedy, disrespectful, classless, hypocritical, incapable) rubbish. I like to quote the example of a close relative of mine who worked as a teaching assistant to children with special educational needs. She was made redundant in the wake of massive cuts to central Government grants to local authorities and her local council was compelled to make huge reductions in the services it could offer. She continues to vote Conservative, along with her husband. It isn't possible to reason with people who don't appear to possess the power to reason.

How the f*** is that vile, lying slug, Lee Anderson still an MP? The population of Ashfield must be either thick as pig sh*t, or full of even bigger racist tw##s than he is. It's probably a combination of both.
He's a proven liar, as exposed by a Daily Mail report that was following him around his constituency.
Jesus f***ing Christ.

Labour take Rochdale, now that is massive. Have that, Galloway, now you can get back to pretending you're a f***ing cat!
Horrible individual.
