Jeremy Hunt the ex-minster of "Hulture" joins the race ! And who, as Minister responsible for the national health service managed to royally piss off doctors and waving that about as some sort of badge of honour and who managed to largely ignore the lessons learned from the pandemic simulation exercise performed in 2016ish which highlighted shortfalls in critical kit before the actual pandemic highlighted shortfalls in critical kit. Or, you could go for Kemi Badenoch, described as being willing to cross the road to pick a fight. In other words, a political non-entity who uses contrarianism as way of making a name for herself because without it, she's nobody anybody would take a blind bit of notice of. Given to completely misrepresenting facts and the arguments of opponents in order to stir up trouble she's been in the forefront of the so-called "culture wars" so, given the state of the contemporary Tory Party I'd stick my neck out and go for her. If that particular nutter is not quite to your taste, you could always go for Steve Baker. Gotta love Stevie, he thinks that teaching children about climate change frightens them. On that basis, he has described it as child abuse. You couldn't make it up. The electorate in these people's constituencies, many of whom will no doubt consider themselves sentient, rational, even reasonable and intelligent vote for these cretins irrespective of the demonstrable damage they've done to this country over many years but when the Daily Heil, the biggest selling "newspaper" in the country reports as it does today, that 77% of its readership think Johnson a reasonable man who has been stabbed in the back, maybe it's time to be very worried for our collective future.

The Daily Mail isn't the biggest selling newspaper, Yorks, it's not even second, I see the numbers every week in work.

More fool me for believing anything the rag says about anything, although I seem to remember that the Guardian stated it earlier this week as well. B. Kind of proves a point I find myself repeating, namely that the Daily Heil is as dishonest as the party it supports.

The Daily Maul is just over 800k, whereas the Wapping Liar sells well over 1 million - we print both.
For example, my department deals with the TV Magazine supplement for the Saturday edition of the latter, with the current circulation requirement at just over 1.3m, so it's safe to say the Mail is, as always, full of sh*t.
Both of them are full of sh*t, however and both of them are trash that I wouldn't use as toilet paper, even if the only other option was a cheese grater!

If you didn't laugh, you'd probably cry. Kemi Badenoch is the rising star of the political right which, in the case of the contemporary tory party is further from the centre than it has probably ever been. When she can be arsed voting at all, which is relatively infrequently, she shows all the compassion for those of our fellows less well off than she is that one might reasonably expect from a far-right nutjob. She doesn't believe in global warming for example, is happy to kick local democracy into the long grass and would like to cut central government support for local government even further than it already has been since 2010. She hasn't (so she says) experienced racism from the Tories and therefore seems to assume that it doesn't exist. Curious. The Muslim tory Baroness Warsi has likened being a Muslim member of the party to being involved in an abusive relationship. No doubt the far-right of the party hold her dear because she's happy to tell them what they want to hear in exchange for their support as she slithers her way to the top of the greasy pole. Personally, I couldn't care less what her ethnic background is, or what her gender is, a tw## is a tw## and should be called out as such. When one considers that she returned to this country (she was born here, of immigrant Nigerian parents) as a teenager because the political situation in Nigeria had declined, presumably to the point where she felt threatened, she might have some sympathy with the plight of other refugees but no, that, along with any other sense of decency she may once have had can be conveniently put to one side in favour of personal ambition.
