53 ministers gone and counting. People refusing to take up vacancies in their place. I believe he has now decided to go but stay on until the Autumn !!!!!!! Sod off Boris, now. Reminds me of another guy who refused to f*** off not so long ago, but eventually had no choice. Wonder what's next, Johnson's supporters storming parliament? Just f***ing go, you lying, profiteering, cheating, racist homophobe. I'm sure I've left plenty out there, but that'll do for starters.

BBC interviewer asking Starmer twice who he'd rate as an opponent to succeed Johnson - what the f***?
Are the BBC that scared of pissing of the government that they'll even attempt to coerce an endorsement from the opposition leader?
f***ing hell.

What the f*** was that speech?
He's f***ing deluded, not one single truth in all of that. The BBC wondering if the speech told us anything new, and I can answer that for them - once a liar, always a liar.
He's mentally ill if he really believes a word of what he's just mumbled there.

Great post from the user 'hedleyverity' regarding Zahawi over on YB... "He’s also prepared to sit at a cabinet table knowing that the rest of them wouldn’t have let him into the country when he arrived as a refugee."Same as Patel whose parents were economic migrants, just like some of those she intends to pack off to Rwanda along with the asylum seekers with genuine claims to settling in this country under international law. Difficult to put into words the loathing that one feels for such people tbh.

What worries me is have we actually seen the worst of this government, or is the worst still to come?
I've had a few instances of 'be careful what you wish for' in my own working life, for example, and it's more often than not ended up worse.

What worries me is have we actually seen the worst of this government, or is the worst still to come? I've had a few instances of 'be careful what you wish for' in my own working life, for example, and it's more often than not ended up worse. I rather think it depends on who becomes leader and to whom they owe their victory. That the party remains in complete thrall to its far right is surely beyond reasonable doubt. Steve Baker, a full-on far right climate change denying nut job if ever there was one has said that he fancy's the job. He has already stated that he will get rid of all Johnson's "green" policies. Just to put that into perspective, Johnson's government quietly stated last week that it intended to rip up the environmental protections given to this country's most important wildlife sites so it could hardly be called "green". On top of that, after two decades of disastrous policies that turned its rivers into open sewers, Herefordshire county council, following a shift from Tory to independent control, finally did the right thing. It applied to the government to create a water protection zone, defending the River Wye against the pollution pushing it towards complete ecological collapse. But in a letter published last week, the UK’s environment minister, Rebecca Pow, refused permission, claiming, in a display of world-beating stupidity, that it “would impose new and distinct regulatory obligations on the farmers and businesses within the catchment” which is, of course, the point. Given the Tory instinct to flog anything and everything to anyone with a few quid, to count the cost of everything without the merest pretence of considering its value then frankly, I don't think it matters which cretin gets the job because the short-sighted stupidity of considering everything as an item on a profit and loss account is factored into the choice, it's merely a question of degree.

Given his propensity for voting against increasing benefits even in line with inflation, including for those with sickness and disability problems, his consistent voting to cut central government financial support for local council's whilst increasing the financial burden on them, voting against giving gay people equal rights or promoting human rights in general blah, blah, blah, I think it safe to assume that since he shows all the sociopathic characteristics associated with the swivel-eyed far right of his wretched party. The reason he appeared as from nowhere is because that's where his sympathies lie. The only difference is that he's kept himself to himself and not advertised it. His voting record should however concern any and everybody with a genuine concern for their country. He has no love for democracy, believes that the best way to encourage the have nots is to punish them, regards the all of us as units of production to be exploited by our employers and is therefore a genuinely unpleasant individual, one amongst many. As I said before, it's a question of degree and I suspect the country will live to regret this clown as its PM.

Sorry guys , I was being ironic.
My school was in Knott End on Sea (and Preesall), Lancashire's premier holiday resort (famous in a couple of Lowry paintings). You didn't park there, you abandoned your vehicle at the side of the road. As the local vicar once said on Radio Lancs, people come to Knott to retire and wait to die ............. and then forget why they came.
Wallace did nothing to save our local swimming pool (built by local public subscription) when faced with swinging cuts to Lancashire Council budgets. The village is surrounded by Morecambe Bay, The river Wyre estuary and numerous dykes and flashing associated with drainage of the peat bogs and the old salt workings. If a place every needed a pool it was here !
So I haven't forgiven him.

Almost always voted for allowing employees to exchange some employment rights for shares in the company they work for
Jesus wept, I didn't even know that was a thing.
I wonder how many of the people that voted for this guy actually took the time to read his CV? I wonder how many voters actually take the time, or do they just read the S*n and the Heil and listen to the rants of taxi drivers and white van man?

Love this guy but this comes with a profanity alert! I subscribe to Jonathan Pie myself, Duds, so I saw this yesterday. Real name Tom Walker (no, not that one!), he is top quality, mate. He absolutely tells it like it is.
