Going back on topic to the game, I'm very unhappy about the state of the pitch and I think yesterday it really showed, nearly every cross was in the air which is easier for the opposition to handle I think because putting it across the ground is near enough impossible, especially at the Cheadle End goal!
I mean do we I have ANYONE doing the pitch now or is it literally just being left to grow and deteriorate?

Lord knows, mate, it appears to me that McKnight just doesn't care what he affects at the club as long as he's saving money. I just think he's obsessed with making cost savings, he's an idiot.

no, there's clearly someone doing the pitch. you could see the roller? lines down it very clearly from where i was sat, yet even before kick off it looked much worse than thursday. as far as i'm concerned, somebody has worked on it but made it worse. given that we're best when we work little bits of interplay between the midfield and front players, we need a decent pitch to work with.

I'm no expert but I think you can roller a pitch when it's semi-frozen. I don't think you can when it's sodden.
You lot will know the conditions in Stockport better than me.

It would be easier just to hire a gardening firm for 6 hours a week or something, it'd be better than whatever is going on at the minute, or just a crazy outlandish thought, re-hire the groundsman!

as far as i'm concerned, somebody has worked on it but made it worse. Question is, who is that someone, and are they qualified to do the job? My guess is, they're the cheapest option, and are vastly under or even non-qualified to undertake such specialist work. I saw a couple of photos from Liam Cash's Twitter posted on YB2 yesterday, the people who made the decision to lay him off want kicking out of the club and all the way up castle street, and let Cashy do the kicking. It's a disgrace. "RYAN, WHY DON'T YOU JUST F**K OFF?........" I'm having that Fitzy question as my signature, I've just decided!
