I obviously don't remember them days but one of my all time favourite sides was the Juventus side of the mid 2000s!
Gigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Patrick Veiria, Alessandro Del Piero, Sebastian Giovinco, David Trezeguet, Pavel Nedved, Liliam Thuram, Edgar Davids, Gianluca Zambrotta, Mauro Camoranesi etc.

Zambrotta was a real favourite of mine, as seriously world class a footballer as you'll ever see.

Whilst I'm not a Juve fan as such, I still follow them and watch their games if I can because of that team! If not for the match fixing scandal to hit Italy in 2007, I've no doubt they would've won a Champions League and continued dominating the Serie A.
A joy to watch that team! Buffon and Del Piero are two of my all time favourite players!

ah. football italia. i was living in oxford from autumn '92 for just over a year. sunday mornings we'd play five-a-side, then in the afternoon it was the pub watching beppe signori, gabriel batistuta, and all the other totemic strikers of serie a. i was a young man, with all the attendant hopes and dreams. now italian football is sh*t and i'm a ruin. those days are always sunny in my head.

The Samp of Mancini, Vialli and Lombardo were pretty good too.

The Samp of Mancini, Vialli and Lombardo were pretty good too. Agreed, winning the title with that trio too. Mancini was a bit of a free kick specialist too if I remember correctly.

yep. was hearing on the radio earlier how 'sad' it was for a side with such a long league history. all i remember is them on our pitch a few years ago and three of us being chased into a shop just down the road from prenton park once, and having to hold the door while over a dozen of them lurked outside making threats that they were going to cut us. not my favourite club.

After County picked up a rare win in the 2009-10 season against Tranmere. Me and my brother were walking back from the ground to the station. A group of 10 or so fully grown men followed us shouting abuse at us, completely unprovoked!
They ranged from about 23/24 to 40+ by the looks of it! I was 18 and my brother was 16. When we finally got to Rockferry Station they hurled plastic bottles and food containers at us before some bigger and more game County fans came along and all of a sudden this group of Birkenhead hardmen didnt want to know!!

Must admit having heard about Tran#### , my response was a slight shrug. Not bothered. Some clubs just leave a nasty taste in your mouth and tvat is one of them.

100 goals scored between Neymar, Suauz and Messi.
Anyone else been watching Barcelona's games? You just don't know which one will attack. Just rips defence apart.
