This....  ... is bloody awful. The first thing I said to my brother was that it's clearly based on the Euro 96 kit colour scheme, and after reading a few articles online I discovered that is actually the case, but Christ on a bike it's horrendous. Nike haven't a clue when it comes to football kits. |

As for the match, Southgate really needs to rethink his strategy, because Harry Kane is a busted flush and with him leading the line we've got no chance in the upcoming World Cup.
That performance was garbage.

In other news, I've only just found out that Chris Kamara is suffering from Apraxia of speech. I watched an interview with him explaining what it's like and it was heartbreaking. I won't post it here, but I will post this article regarding a fantastic gesture from the Middleborough fans in response to this comment from the man himself: "When asked how life was for him at the moment, Kamara said on the podcast: “Strange in terms of I feel a fraud now in terms of broadcasting – I don’t bring to the table what I used to. So that’s hard. “I feel I’m doing these programmes and they’re not getting the best of me, but they’re tolerating me. They would look better with the original Adidas trefoil, Maccy, as that logo is timeless and should never have been replaced - but those Wales shirts are streets ahead of the Nike crap the FA went with. Ours just look like a warm-up top, and not a good one either.  |

That was shameful. It's hard to say whether or not the referee had a clear view, as there were a few players between him and the incident, but the lack of honesty from those two players is shocking.
I'd have definitely owned up to that.

Macc, who sit top of their league by 3 with a game in hand, sack their manager for not doing well enough. Add in he (Danny Whittaker) is a bit of a legend there for his playing days (400+ appearances?) and managed their title success last season, it feels very 'modern football' indeed. Dear me.
