They only got one more after the break. Perhaps their numbers were reduced to even things up a tad... Wigan's Chosen Few?

Still would have been a Hull of a deficit to close. Did I say that...?

I wonder if their new found consciences extend to businesses promoting problem gambling or ensuring that the clubs pay all their staff a living wage? I doubt it somehow. This ↑↑↑ Giving a sh*t is a bit trendy these days, much like a clothing style. They say they're into that particular look and wear the shirt and trousers, but they're going to draw the line at the shoes - for fear that they might just have to walk the walk!

I think players have seen Rashford getting praise for doing a thoroughly decent thing and everyones decided they want a piece of it, whilst this is a good cause, will they be campaigning against certain owners who are known to have links, if not be directly responsible for atrocities in other countrie, will Newcastle's best players be demanding a transfer if the takeover happens?
A lot of hypocricy.

I don't think it's that trendy mate. The Premiership were about to rubber stamp a bunch of Saudi's takeover of Newcastle www.independent.co.uk/voices/saudi-arabia-newcastle-united-takeover-bid-mbs-mohammed-bin-salman-a9486791.htmlThe same Saudi's we've been supplying with munitions to drop on Yemeni civilians, the same Saudi's who have been sponsoring and supporting Wahhabi terrorism the world over so nah, definitely not that trendy.

What I perhaps should have said is looking like you give a sh*t!

and marvellous manchester city -ooh look at the silky football they play with their £600 million worth of FFP f***ing talent- have at least improved to ownership from abu dhabi. they merely have a questionable record on human rights, particularly foreign workers' rights, a slight improvement on thaksin shinawatra, whose corruption wound up the thais until they mounted a coup to get rid of him. at least they're going the right way, to make it any worse it would have to be that c*** from wetherspoons mounting a takeover.

FFP has only ever been about corrupt old money trying to protect itself from new money. That it was Platini's brainchild tells you all you need to know.
Given Liverpool's excursion into industrial espionage, Klopp has a nerve trying to claim any moral high ground.

which bit with liverpool archie? tapping up van dijk? not great but southampton extracted a premium for it in the end. that doesn't justify it of course.
a lot of the money they spent was from money received - just suarez and coutinho's sales brought in about £220m, and somehow they managed to extract about the price the paid for mane from bournemouth for jordon ibe and dominic solanke.
appreciate that a lot of the clubs have done plenty of dodgy stuff - that's why i like the idea of an effective FFP.

which bit with liverpool archie? tapping up van dijk? I think that after Lambert, Lallana, Clyne and Mane, Southampton had a particular view of the Van Dijk affair. However, I was talking about the illegal access of the City scouting system a few years ago. Liverpool are said to have paid City £1M in a private compensation deal. The FA looked into it last year but it seems that they couldn't/wouldn't proceed without an official complaint from City. I do think that Klopp would have been wiser to take Ancelotti's line that his job is to oversee play on the field and he won't comment on other issues.

Fans in stadiums: Boris Johnson says supporters could return in England in October - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/53441670Pfft. I'd say "f*** off, Johnson", but we all know now that it's not him calling the shots.
