Afternoon, all.
Rather earlier than usual to be starting a Match Thread - but, having just received the following information from Barrow, through County, about arrangements for Good Friday's game, i thought it worth getting this one underway...
Kick-off, remember, has been brought forward from the evening to 3pm.
*****************************************************************************************************
Supporters Admission
Admission prices are Seats £14 / £11 (concessions); Standing £13 / £10 (concessions). U-18s are £5 and U-7s are £1 everywhere.
** Stockport supporters should enter by Turnstiles E/F on the corner of Wilkie Road near to the Traffic Lights.** DIRECTIONS TO FURNESS BUILDING SOCIETY STADIUM
By Road:
M6 Junction 36 (33 miles to Barrow), follow A590 through Ulverston (approx. 25 miles).
Take the second exit off the first roundabout (new by-pass), straight ahead at the second roundabout and right at the third. Follow signs for Barrow (approx. 5 miles). You will pass a large Kimberley Clarke factory and further on there is the Fire Station on right, take the next left into Wilkie Road (just before the Travelodge) and the ground is on the right. By Rail:
Barrow-in-Furness Railway Station is situated approx. half a mile from the ground at the bottom of Holker Street. Supporters should turn right out of the station forecourt and proceed up Holker Street where the ground can be found at the top on the left.

I'll be joining you again in the Press Box, Maccy. You'll be sick of me by the end of the season Anyway, I'm hoping for a good result even though there isn't really much optimism.

As for the game, I can see it resulting in a 4-0 hammering.

Not a great game that echoed the reverse fixture a few weeks ago at Edgeley Park.

Well a loss but not as bad as I feared.

Not sure what it says about the match and/or my journalism, but this (taken in a 'Nature watch' moment inside the Barrow press box) was the most popularly-received tweet of mine from yesterday...

Shame we can't get into a DeLorean and go back in time, to create a 'Butterfly effect' that changes the present state of the club to something as amazing as that, Maccy!
