Two keeper errors, I think.
I would have been most disappointed to have conceded either of those. Poor handling on the first and skating around on his arse at the edge of the area for the second.
Both nicely tucked away though.

Thanks for posting, gazza.
I think we need to keep this as a reminder of how far we've fallen. What are we doing playing in places like this? Seriously. Our village primary school has a better ground than that. We've played at Wembley for crying out loud (which is what I'm almost doing - crying, not playing at Wembley).
Sorry, guys - I'm just feeling really depressed again at how far we've fallen. We should send this video clip to all the shysters in suits who screwed us over to remind them of their culpability.
Seriously depressing.

To be fair if you was in league 1 or 2 you'd still be playing in this competition. Just like Crewe and Tranmere are.

Fair point, nlr. It was just an emotional reaction to seeing us play at that ground - and that it seems to be the norm for us now. For the likes of Crewe and Tranmere it's a novelty. For us it's a weekly reality.

County have always entered the Cheshire and/or Manchester Cup. Normally we'd put out a reserve team to play. Most league teams still do that. We seem to be putting pretty strong teams out in these games. I guess that's partly because we have such a small squad and I think because AL wants to actually win this trophy.

For us it's a weekly reality. Know what you mean it does look like the local rec ground used for Sunday League. That said at least returning players are getting a look in to help their comebacks. The more we have fit I seriously believe the better our performances will be better as there will be more comptition for places. So for me its a means to an end.

Next up is the so-called Third Round, Fudgie. We travel to Runcorn Town, on a date to be confirmed.
But it is also, in effect, a Quarter Final, as we are down to the last eight!
