Having abandoned the Bradford competition we move straight on to Colwyn Bay for New Year's Day.
First game, new year, two oh one five. A win to keep play-off dreams alive. Was Boxing Day a rehearsal ? For this fixture reversal. ..........................................................
Macca remains as your judge for this one.
Have a go if you have time.

No problem, Eppers!
Lennie - will judge this later tonight, or early tomorrow, once I have filed my Match Report, if that's ok?

Right then, with the Match Report put to bed, and me awoken from mine, here are the results from the Macc Jury: In third place, Gazza, with "Let's hope our boys are buzzing like bees in a hive." It was hardly the weather for bees yesterday, but, without doubt, the team was up for it... and the game did contain a sting in the tail! Taking the Silver Medal position, Eppers, with his post-match observation that "Sharp's winning goal needed to be confirmed by MI5." Watching the video highlights in the cold light of day, it must be difficult to imagine what a mystery the goal-scorer's identity was at the time - but, believe me, it appeared anything but clear from the press box! (Enjoyed my chance after the match to conduct a little bit of investigative journalism, though... ) And our winner, on this occasion, is... Ceefer, whose adaptation of Yoda speech syntax in "County then must for the all three points strive." was both a little bit different and a little bit daft - two important ingredients for a winning line. Downy also earns himself an 'assist' for photographic back-up work! Many thanks to all who entered - and, as ever, to Lennie for keeping us rhyming!

Decision is one that is wise, Macca.
Cheers a lot for that. well done podium sitters. short on quantity over the holiday period but the excellence still exists in the rhyming.
Thanks to all who entered. New one coming soon.
