Excellent news, Lennie! On the subject of grown-up mascots, we had something similar at EP recently (against Leamington, I think) - after a group of stags presented the groom-to-be with the chance to run out with the Hatters. Truth be told, he didn't look overly out of place during the warm-up - although it was with Paul Turnbull...  |

From tonight's Blackpool Gazette
"The latest in the saga between Valeri Belokon and Blackpool Football Club owner Owen Oyston will be heard in court once again this week.
At 10.30am on Thursday, in the Rolls Building in London, Justice Marcus Smith is expected to approve orders for sale and to set a date for auction to raise the £25m Belokon is still owed.
In total, there are 24 properties and shares in six companies.
Among them is Blackpool Football Club (Properties) Limited, Oyston’s company that owns 97 per cent of the shares in the football club, as well as the Bloomfield Road stadium, Squires Gate training ground and the Travelodge hotel."

ha! obviously he'll try and stall, probably appeal it, but he's getting backed into a corner again and this time with added jail threat if he f***s about paying the court costs again... it's like the sopranos, sometimes slow, but i'm luxuriating in the greatness of it.
