The supporters trust want him to take over the Club.Don't know whether he wants it though. he looked so splendid in his tangerine suit at wembley too... he made out two or three years ago that he was going to fight them for the club, but whether that actually translated to he is going to fight them for the money only, remains to be seen. |

Just by way of a public service announcement, I have a strange Blackpool-related experience to report...
My bank statement for last month showed a card payment of £10 to 'Blackpool FC'. Knowing that I had had no dealings with the club, and finding the amount a tad peculiar (in that it was a precise sum, and relatively low to attract attention), I queried it with the bank, who, with my agreement, put an immediate stop on my debit card, issued me with a replacement, and investigated the payment - which, I have learned today, they believe to have been fraudulent.
No idea what was behind this, or whether it actually emanated from BFC - but, in these days of scams, thought it worth sharing!

Unless you have already solved the mystery, Maccy, I think you'll find this payment related to our trip to AFC Fylde, did it not? I had a similar payment showing on my card around the same time, having purchased tickets via their online system. |

Only one problem with that, so far as I was concerned, Sandy - I had no need to buy a ticket for the press box...  Still a mystery. But interesting that the payment showed up for you as being from Blackpool, rather than Fylde! |
