Get yourselves this week's edition of the NLP, if only to read the Cap'n's nominations and what he has to say about them (on page 27)!
For those of you who can't find a copy, I will list his nominees on the next post...

A pleasure, gazza. Hopefully, the article may go online before long - in which case, I shall post a link to the full piece on here.
Milligan comes across as quite a character himself, judging by some of the quips (all nice and light-hearted) that he makes - but the really pleasing thing is the piece's portrayal of a sense of true cameraderie across the playing squad. Spencer, in particular, is mentioned as the player that every team should have, simply in terms of his changing-room influence. I don't find that surprising - having met him after a game, when he took time to chat with me and Macc Junior while he could just as easily have been making a bee-line for the bar. Top bloke.

I had to smile, too, at the notion of Sharp being anything but when it comes to dress sense!

but the really pleasing thing is the piece's portrayal of a sense of true cameraderie across the playing squad. I think that's the main difference now, Alan has carefully crafted a squad that wants to play not only for the club, but also for each other.

Nail hit firmly on head Gaz! It's a good time at the moment to be a county fan. And lord knows (pardon the pun) we deserve it.
