'waterloo sunset' is one of the greatest songs ever recorded and almost always transports me to the smoke. stuff like 'you really got me', 'dead end street', 'see my friends' and a host of others are great too.

Not to mention the more modern classic 'Come Dancing', another piece of genius storytelling from Ray Davies. The fact he's still not been elevated to 'Sir Ray Davies' absolutely defies belief.
