Afternoon all.
Due to overwhelming popular demand (it was mentioned briefly at half time on Saturday), I've agreed to run another poker tournament. If you're interested in taking part, we'll kick things off around this time tomorrow so you have until then to register your interest.
I'm not going to repeat all of the rules etc. so if you haven't played before please read Poker Tournament 1 or Poker Tournament 2 to get a feel for the game.
Unlike with the previous two tournaments, I'm going to find it harder to keep up to date with each round in the evenings and at weekends, so it's likely to be a weekday/daytime competition just in case that affects anyone's decision whether to take part or not.
Register your interest, and take a seat at the table..... now!

Just the four taking part then (suits me as it's easier to keep track of!).
Here's the table (with your all new poker names):
MERCILESS MACC GAZZA THE GRABBER
LOUSY LENNIE EPWORTH-A-LOT
SAND-BANK (THE DEALER)
Here's a reminder of the hands you can get in Texas Hold 'Em Poker in order of strength:
1. Royal Flush - This is the best hand that can be obtained in poker and is the 10, J, Q, K, A of the same suit. 2. Straight Flush - A sequence of the same suit, e.g. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 of clubs. 3. Four of a Kind - self-explanatory really! 4. Full House - 3 of a kind and a pair, e.g. Q, Q, Q, 6, 6 5. Flush - Any 5 cards of the same suit 6. Straight - Any 5 sequential cards (e.g. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) of different suits 7. Three of a Kind 8. Two Pairs 9. One Pair 10. High Card - where you have none of the above hands.
Remember, you either need to check or fold each time. Once you've received your 'hold' cards, I'll reveal The Flop, then once everyone has responded it's The Turn, followed finally by The River. Check at that point and you're all in.
Any other questions, I'm sure we'll deal with as we go along.
Dealing....
