With our next game just a few days away, I'll box this one off now, Len.
Before I do, I just thought I'd share this Limerick with you that I found during my current read:-
There was a young woman from Looe, Who filled her f*nny with glue She said with a grin, 'They'll pay to get in, And they'll pay to get out of it too!'
Back to the award ceremony.
In 3rd place Eps with his excellent ' I told the Queen we'd win and she purred'
Runner up Macc with his equally excellent ' And Lady Anne Neville's his bird'
"I gotta winner" - it's archie with his quite brilliant ' Prince Monolulu had one in Sea Bird'
Well done all!
Back to you, Len, in the 5-3 studio.

Blimey, pressure on for the next one already !!! No chance to say "time for a decision"
Thanks Sir Rog for this judgement, a very difficult one but expertly and wisely done.
Congrats to Eps and Macca but especially Archie with a winner that came up on the rails with a late run.
Thanks to all for taking part, new one coming soon.

Cheers sir rog. I feel a little guilty about playing the judge, as it were, given that you're almost certainly the only person on here who knows that Prince Monolulu was a character racecourse tipster with the catchphrase, 'I gotta horse' and that Sea Bird won the Derby in 1965. Apologies to all the other very worthy entries but if you spot a gap in the market......
Oh, and of course, thanks to Lennie for the game.

I had to google Prince Monolulu to see where you were coming from and I vaguely remember a horse called Seabird so I guessed where you were coming from.
Brilliantly slide in to fit the limerick.

Thanks, rog. Very happy with a podium finish. Well played Macc and especially archie (although it went over my head!) Thanks Len, your Limericks are always quality, but I thought this one was particularly brilliant.
