It all goes pear shaped when the dragon turns up. Riveting stuff.

For World Book today my school chose an Alice in Wonderland theme. Guess which character I decided to go as!

Even better on the 14th reading (in 24 hours). The dragon is actually the hero and saves the day when their canoe sinks in a storm. Thank goodness for magic spells that conjure up the dragon in a cauldron of fire helped by a cat and an owl. I just love reading fact over fiction. (complete with sound effects, of course) Honestly, you just couldn't make it up.

Guess which character I decided to go as! i think i know, but to be fair, the cheshire cat would be another appropriate choice. i kind of like the surreal notion of you battle through the blizzards dressed as the mad hatter. did your top hat stay on?!?

Snow arrived at the end of the day yesterday so I only had to drive back looking like a lunatic in the snow!

Jack Reacher number 12: 'Nothing To Lose' now completed after arriving last week - it's another great read!
I have already taken delivery of Jack Reacher number 13: 'Gone Tomorrow', but I'm going to delay starting it for a few days.

After taking delivery of Jack Reacher number 13: 'Gone Tomorrow' I really couldn't resist starting it and, having just completed it, I can highly recommend it as yet another brilliant read. Number 14: '61 Hours' was ordered last night, so I should be receiving it around the middle of next week - I can't wait! My folks bought me the 22nd book titled 'Midnight Line' in hardback for Christmas just gone, so with his next one due out this November I'm getting all books up to and including number 22 completed. Then I'll be ready for the release of number 23, which is titled 'Past Tense', on the 5th of November this year - I'm expecting plenty of fireworks!

'61 Hours' now completed, with number 15: 'Worth Dying For' now having dropped through the letterbox and demanding my attention!
'61' is a fantastic story and would, in my opinion, be a good choice for the next movie - another recommended read!

hmm. wonder what gazz might be reading today. in fact any day... i've also been battering some individual authors recently. it's great getting into a series, yet i start to panic slightly if i've really enjoyed one and the end is creeping into sight. sometimes that makes me stupid enough to stop a book or two before the end so that i'm not suddenly the other side of it with nothing new left. i guess that's a good mark of how much you've enjoyed a series.

gazz, as a huge Reacher fan, I've just finished Midnight Line (brilliant). I excuse Lee Child being Coventry born and bred but he tells a hell of a story.
