I hope our new signings don't read the dreaded YB!! Supporters shooting down these players before they have even kicked a ball for us!!! Disgusting behaviour!!!
Rant over!!!

The three players concerned appear to be:
Glenn Belezika - defender (free agent, played most recently for Hyde);
Daniel Gregson - central defender (from Weston-super-Mare); and
Nathan Woolfe - winger (from Hednesford).
Nothing official on COWS as yet, mind...

I completely back any decision Lordy makes even if it looks strange to us mere mortals!
You can't read YB with any seriousness the place can be cancerous at times. We could sign Messi and Ronaldo on a free on 100 a week each and they'd still find something to complain about

I think there will be some over the top, premature criticisms, but I really don't think this would be an issue had we not been through season after season of let downs. A lot of the negativity we see on message boards can be attributed to this, but I do agree, Kev, we need to trust Lordy to do the job his way, otherwise what is the point in giving him the job?
I don't think the continued shareholder silence is helping matters, so some are bound to panic and wonder if we're in for yet another "make do" season full of kids and players nobody else wants while we try to offload the shareholders who don't care about the club. Personally I'm concerned that this is exactly what we will see again next season, I hope I'm wrong.
That said, Lordy is the wrong man to criticise even if this was the case, and I'm willing to back him and his judgement in building a squad that can compete at the right end of the table for a change. While we do need to keep an eye on developments and have a right to demand more updates than we're getting, we do need to give Alan the time and backing that he needs to get it right, and ripping into his every signing is absolutely ludicrous, especially this soon after the football season has finished.

Excellent comms from the club, well done to all involved, keep it up. A vast improvement on last years communications. A picture of the player signing a piece of paper sat next to a grinning McKnight accompanied by a thousand words of absolute piffle.

Excellent comms from the club, well done to all involved, keep it up. Couldn't agree more, gazza. Lordy's Statement and a full CV of the three signings is exactly what's needed from the Club. I've been quick to take the p*** on plenty of issues regarding COWS in the past, but in the last couple of days it has earned some much needed respect. Well done to those concerned and long may it continue.

Potentially, they look like 3 good signings. Nice to see players coming in early. No horrendous waiting for new players just before the season start. Well done Lordy

Gregson - 6ft 5ins.
Could be very useful at the back.

Gregson - 6ft 5ins. Could be very useful at the back. or for painting the top corners of the dressing room. i noticed an alty fan on the NLF remarking on the 'load of shite' we'd signed, but we're at a level where we don't really know. a stalybridge fan was very critical of mark lees when we signed him, but i've liked both his attitude and most of his play. AL has identified his targets and we've mainly just got to go with that at the moment. anything else is unfairly premature.
