Don't be putting this out there and holding back on your own choices there, Cobber!
1. First single you ever bought - 'Enola Gay' by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, from Nield & Hardy on Underbank.
2. Song that always gets you dancing. - I don't dance.
3. Song that takes you back to your childhood.- 'Way Down' by Elvis, it was never off the radio when he died, and that had a massive effect on me as a kid because I idolised him
4. Perfect love song. - 'Can't get by without you' by The Real Thing
5. Song at your funeral. 'Everybody's Talkin' by Harry Nilsson, great song, great movie (Midnight Cowboy)
6. Song that sums you up. - 'I'm Sorry' by Brenda Lee, because I've had to say that far too many times in my life!

1. First single you ever bought - I don't remember the first single I got but the first album I bought with money given to me was 'Think Tank' by Blur when I was 13. The one I got with my own money was The Wall by Pink Floyd.
2. Song that always gets you dancing. I don't really dance but the typical wedding ones get everyone up!
3. Song that takes you back to your childhood. Beetle bum by Blur as it was the first one I remember but also Crazy by Gnarls Barkley was out when I got hit by a car when I was about 14.
4. Perfect love song. Let there be love - Oasis. The first romantic song I heard whilst with my first proper girlfriend.
5. Song at your funeral. I'd like to have my coffin carried in to the instrumental version of 'World in Union' the Rugby song as the music is beautiful but as cheesy as it is. I'd love nothing more than for my County friends and family to break into a rendition of the Scarf!
6. Song that sums you up. 'Here's look in' at you kid' by the Gaslight Anthem. Sums up my love life in a sadly true way!

1. First single you ever bought. Cassette single of The House Martins - Happy Hour. Still love that song today and I am totally gutted I couldn't get Paul Heaton tickets for The Lowry in 2 weeks time.
2. Song that always gets you dancing. Depends on where I am! Family/Friends party - Anything Cheesy, Back in my clubbing days - System F - Out of the Blue, and now I'm older - Anything with a funky soulful sound.
3. Song that takes you back to your childhood. Dire Straits - Walk of Life (still my favourite song of all time and has been since I was about 3!)
4. Perfect love song. Elton John - Your Song
5. Song at your funeral. Depends on what happens to me, If I'm being buried then The Jam - Going Underground, If I'm being cremated then either The Trammps - Disco Inferno (burn baby burn!!) or Nelly - It's getting hot in here!
6. Song that sums you up. Steve Miller Band - The Joker (Always try to be funny and see the lighter side of everything! Like when my car got stolen a few years ago, when I realised it has gone my first thought was "nice one, that's the morning off work"!

1. First single you ever bought. Like Fudgie, I can't remember my first single, but the first tape I ever had bought for me was.... (don't laugh) Five Star!. The first CD I bought was Blur Parklife.
2. Song that always gets you dancing. I tried to avoid dancing at all costs, but after consuming huge amounts of alcohol at our most recent work Christmas party, I was straight on the dance floor for 'Get Lucky' by Daft Punk. I suspect the shapes I was throwing were not as good as I thought they were at the time.
3. Song that takes you back to your childhood. Anything from the Icehouse album 'Man of Colours'. Probably 'Crazy' or 'Electric Blue'. Or can I have the theme tune to Airwolf?!
4. Perfect love song. I like countyfan's suggestion of 'Your Song' but, purely for the lyrics, I'll say 'The Luckiest' by Ben Folds.
5. Song at your funeral. 'Goodbye Sky Harbour' by Jimmy Eat World. It goes on for nearly 20 minutes so none of you f**kers can sneak off early for a pint.
6. Song that sums you up. 'Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)' - The Offspring

1. First single you ever bought-The Barron Knights, A Taste of Aggro. 75p from Debenhams, was split and had to take it back. Lesson learnt that day.
2. Song that always gets you dancing-Madness, One Step Beyond. No explanation necessary.
3. Song that takes you back to your childhood-Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody. Number one for a gazillion weeks...
...twice.
4. Perfect love song-Elvis, Always on my Mind.
5. Song at your funeral-Sigur Ros, Ara Batur. Perfect.
6. Song that sums you up-Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb.

Posters on every wall, records on the turntable, Dad telling me to "turn that bloody bass down" whenever I played them, I was also on their mailing list with regular parcels coming through the door from them addressed to me, including books and records etc... So, the scene is set... They did a small gig at the City Lights in Manchester which was televised on Granada, which I recorded and played to death. Dad (who worked at Granada TV for years as a set builder and then later their heating and ventilation engineer) noticed one day that I was playing it, and says "I was offered free VIP tickets for the recording of that, you should have told me you liked them...." Whole bedroom PLASTERED in Housemartins posters, not just small ones, FIVE FEET TALL posters! Nice one, Dad. I'm going to ring him later and remind him of that!

Ordinarily I'd be asking were you ok, but having met you personally it's obvious the car would have suffered more!

But at the time I'm sure you was a little miffed to say the least! I've checked on Seatwave, Viagogo and Getmein and none of them have got any tickets available for the Lowry gig!! I hope he puts on extra date on.

I was seriously pi**ed off, mate, they were the fourth best band in Hull after all!
Incidentally, Paul Heaton has been known to come to EP to watch County with his Daughter in the past, not sure if he still does though, but I think he still lives in Manchester so he may still get to the odd game. He must have a bit of a soft spot for us, maybe someone else can shed some light on his appearances at County games?
Apologies, I'm not usually one for digression.......... yeah right! Anyway, I hope he does put another date on so you can get to see him, mate.

'Dazed & Confused' - Led Zep I know I keep saying it, Rog, but 'Dazed & Confused' on that 1976 live album is as epic a guitar solo as you're going to get, Jimmy Page is untouchable in my opinion.

Ordinarily I'd be asking were you ok, but having met you personally it's obvious the car would have suffered more! I instinctively went to fight the car for a cheap hit......once a hockey player! In all seriousness I was fine. I had a bad cut on my head and broke my nose and sprained my ankle but was back playing football, rugby and hockey within a month! The car had a smashed windscreen, a dent in the Bonnet and the Audi logo at the front fell off! In my shock I actually got up and walked home until the driver called me back!
