Just watched the Sky documentary that followed former Newcastle defender Robbie Elliot's charity bike ride across Europe, taking in every club Sir Bobby Robson managed, with interviews with former players etc who worked with the great man. If it ever gets repeated, watch it. Stephen Tompkinson reads quotes from his autobiography 'Farewell but not goodbye' throughout, which is an absolutely brilliant book I might add!
Continue to rest in peace, Sir Bobby.

finally watching 'senna' at the moment. what a powerful bit of film-making that is. Monumental, no other word for it, and you do not have to be a fan of motorsport to watch it. The best of the modern era by a long stretch, Donnington 1993 is the perfect example of the supreme skill and courage of the man.

Spotted a plot hole in the script of the Only Fools episode 'Sleeping dogs lie' after watching it earlier. Where Del and Rodney look after Boycey's dog, Duke. Part of the script suggests Del and Rodney eat all the expensive fresh meats that Boycey gave them to feed the dog, and the dog ate nothing but tinned dog food. When the dog was taken to the vet, Del interrupted Rodney as he was about to tell the vet that the dog had been eating tinned food, to say they'd fed him steaks etc & Pork that they had 'warmed up a bit' from the night before, which was a lie because as Rodney was about to say, Duke had been eating dog food.
So when they are asked by the vet to bring the pork leftovers in to check for salmonella and discover Albert had eaten the leftovers, they then send Albert to the hospital for stomach pumps etc in case of Salmonella poisoning.
My question is this: Why did they let Albert go to the hospital for all those tests when Del knew the Pork he'd eaten hadn't been touched by the dog?
Sorry, but I had to share it.

I watched a TV Documentary called Video Games: The Movie.
For anyone who is or has ever been interested in gaming, I definitely recommend it.
It chronicles the rise, fall and rise of games consoles in the 80s and how games have become a huge part of our lives.

A live-action Legend of Zelda series is headed to Netflix:Link is getting ready to do battle with Ganon in your living room again, only this time you won’t control hist actions with a gamepad. Netflix is working on a new live-action series based on the Zelda games.
Development of the show is said to be in the very early stages, and that’s understandable enough. Nintendo probably doesn’t want to rush into anything. Historically, they’ve been pretty stingy with their properties — and it’s easy enough to understand why. Remember the Super Mario Bros. movie? And the two Zelda CD-I games that Philips developed? They weren’t exactly triumphs. If they’ve said yes to Netflix on a new Zelda series, they’ll want to make sure that it’s done properly. According to The Wall Street Journal, they’re referring to the show as a “Game of Thrones for a family audience.” If they’re able to come anywhere close to proving that statement true, then we’re in for a real treat.
There’s still a long way to go before you see anything pop up on Netflix, however. The Journal’s inside source also told them that Netflix hasn’t even named a writer yet. For a project like this, bringing one of the most beloved video game franchises in history to life, there has to be a geeky writer or team out there that’s chomping at the bit to get involved.Article

Well never in a month of Sundays did I think I'd find a series to beat Breaking Bad, but the creators of aforementioned epic may well have done just that...I am seriously loving Better Call Saul.
Feels like BB but really started much better. If your a BB fan you gotta catch this, if you have never seen Breaking Bad to know nothing about Saul then where have you been !!
Both BB and BCS are on Netflix now...worth the subscription fee alone.
