He can't be that good if goes to Wrexham. Well realistically we are in a head to head recruitment fight with Wrecktum, Notts County, Gillingham, and seemingly many others - AFC Wombledon for a start have taken two of our CBs. Can't win 'em all, although DC's win stats are pretty good.

How many of their current players would be there if it was Mark Stott who had owned them this past few years? It's not envy, far from it, I just ain't having it that we're competing with Wrexham solely on footballing terms. Their owners are a massive factor.

They can have players who are motivated to join them by trips to Vegas and meeting Will Ferrell.

Sounds like he could be a potential replacement for Collar, maybe?

Hmmm, that's what I was trying not to think. It would only really make sense if Collar was attracting significant bid interest. Connor Evans and Callum Camps can't get in the starting XI and Nick Powell, listed as a forward on COWS, could also be seen as a long term replacement for Sarcevic. So yes, it suggests that our Collar is being, a ha ha, ah ha, felt, as it were....
I'll get my coat.

The 72 are now also reporting the same Scott Banks story and citing the same source, the only difference being that they refer to him playing as a winger - which is interesting.
I get the impression that DC is, by instinct, a back 4 style manager rather than a 3 CBs style. Now I've got no beef with a back 4 - after all that was Dave Jones's preferred defence (although he called it a back 5 because the 'Keeper also counts), and that seemed to go quite well. That said this side has, generally, seemed to play better with 3 CBs.
Buuuuttt, if we went to a back 4 that would suggest MSH or Kyle Noyle at RB and either Touray or Rydel at LB. Instead of a 3 man Mid-field you could have Hippolyte on the left and Banks on the right with Croasdale and one of Collar, Sarcevic or Camps rampaging through the middle. That would leave Phillips and Paddy or Tanto up front (I think Phillips, at 6ft, and in the absence of Woots, may play the CF role....
Any way that's all a) pure speculation and b) presumes that a Banks deal actually comes to something. So don't take it to the a ha ha, a ha, to the Bank - Geddit? Bank?
Ah well, all usual caveats apply. Fingers crossed.
PS, I still want a left-sided CB.
