We may only just be under way with Week 4's games - but, such is the way the days fall this month, it's time to start thinking about your predictions for Week 5!
Here they are - with a couple of Friday-nighters (so don't leave those guesses too late), and a select few for New Year's Eve... including a trio of corkers in the Lowland League.
Good luck, be sure not to forget the potentially all-important tie-break, and Happy New Year!
1. Newry v Glenavon (Friday) 2. Sporting Braga v Benfica (Friday) 3. Bournemouth v Crystal Palace 4. Villarreal v Valencia 5. Berwick v Gala Fairydean 6. Caledonian Braves v Broomhill 7. Spartans v Civil Service Strollers
Tie-break: How many goals will be scored in the eight Premier League matches to be played on Friday, 30th and Saturday, 31st December?

For those waiting for the results on tenterhooks, the Newry game was called off on Friday but will be played tonight. As it's tight at the top, we've decided to extend December by a couple of days in the hope of having a decisive result from predictions rather than the tie-breaker. Final scores on Tuesday morning.

So, as is normal with good intentions, the plan turned to dust when the Newry game was once again postponed.
Scores were quite good for 6 matches with Dudders, Maccy and MHH all scoring 4 but, in the end, the month was a tie between Ceefer and Lennie. 19 goals in the tie-breaker and, while no-one was spot on, Ceefer (and MHH) got closest and wins the month by the narrowest of margins with Lennie second and Bradders third a point away. Well played all especially Ceefer and hard lines Lennie.
18 Ceefer (2) (-1) 18 Lennie (3) (+4) 17 Bradders (1) (+8) 16 MHH (4) (-1) 14 Gazz (3) (+2) 13 Eppy (1) (+3) 12 Dudders (4) (+2) 12 Maccy (4) (+6) 12 Archie (2) (+9) 10 Mini-Herm (-) (-) 8 Hermann (-) (-)

Commiserations to Lennie on a close-run battle and well played, Ceef. I'm personally quite pleased with where I finished, especially after completely forgetting to enter on week 2!
Cheers for your fantastic work this past year, Maccy & Archie - top job!

Wowza! How close was that and I think that's my first win. Unlucky Lennie.
Thanks Maccy and Archie.
