It's an oldie, but it's a goodie!
Kevin is my favourite all-time footballer, not just County. I don't have too many heroes in sport, but he's one of mine, proper legend.
He was the perfect example to all kids watching the game. He was great with the fans, gave 100% in every single game, and no matter how well he did, good, bad or indifferent, he stepped off that pitch totally spent in an effort to give his all for the shirt. While he will have known the massive impact he had here, he never once thought he was the only reason why we were winning games, and as big an influence as he was, he always knew he was part of a team, and gave everything for that team.
The greatest player, and person to pull on the blue and white, bar none in my opinion.

...to add to that, his professionalism and determination to improve his game was immense. Nobody in football will have worked harder at his game than Kev, and anyone who saw the Kevin who first joined us and the one that left us will know the difference all that hard work made.

Hopefully he never became a Flames fan or else me and Kev simply wouldn't get on and I wouldn't much fancy my chances in a scrap with that guy!!
