walker was decent, but there was a lot of below par on show. i'm going to my default fallback position of hinchliffe. unfussily made a couple of good saves tonight, and the one in particular blocking with his legs when another goal would have put us two down was pretty crucial.

Torn between Hinchliffe - on the grounds you suggest, exile - and Walker. And, had he played the full match, Dimaio would have been a contender for me, too.
But, as on Saturday, Sam was ultimately the Man - albeit Walker, rather than Minihan, on this occasion. Delicious strike for the goal, which was something to savour in a contest lacking a great deal of quality.

Walker is a different player this season but misses out by a whisker to Hinchliffe who kept us in the game.
