I am sure the FA will "find" a rule to thwart us (again). Interestingly, Spennymoor are away to Harrogate on Tuesday and Blyth are at Salford. York host Southport on the same night. Opportunity appears to be knocking increasingly loudly, we've just got to make sure we keep answering the door.

Good job Harrogate and Salford are slugging it out for automatic.

Keeping this one short and sweet as the highlights will certainly bring some cheer beyond the result, and the results of others around us!
After Thursday night's game, one can only imagine how their players felt on seeing that our starting front 4 was Oswell, Warburton, Stephenson and Turner... with two attacking FBs behind and a decent midfield to boot! While Leamington were possibly the most naive outfit to visit EP this season, it still required the job to be done. And done it was - in some style. Plenty of good passing, movement, linking up, tempo and intention from the off just meant that they couldn't cope at all with what we were throwing at them. If it had been 6 or 7 nil at HT, it would have been a fair reflection of the one-sided nature of the 45.
Obviously, the second half didn't quite live up to the first but still, pleasing to see a clean sheet and for the determination to increase the 'goals for' column. It's unlikely that we'll have too many games play out quite that way but it's nice to be able to enjoy seeing some of the flair that we have in the side. Well done to the staff and players.

four-nil, four nil, four nil, four nil. Must be some time since we last sang that. indeed. and the last time we scored four at home (the 4-1 against FCUM) i also had the weekend 'off' from county! i do pick them. not that arsed though. they may have been tired from thursday, but you still have to despatch what's in front of you, so well done county.

If that happened to County I’d have to go to anger management classes 😎

And as strange as it seems it was good to see Oswell smiling and enjoying the football.

Probably because he had some friends/team mates close enough to smile at!
