Bournemouth on My Todd, a jazz classic. Ray Charles's version is superb.

Workington, ARS. All I remember was the whole game being played at one end of the park because of the howling gale coming in off the Irish Sea.
Great chips and a good pint. It was okay dokey with smokey Moke' on the wing.

What a difference. Two weeks ago I literally never got out of my seat other than the final whistle. For me the season was over and I could see no way forward.

Great result and nice to see the goals being shared around.
Elsewhere:- Kiddy throw away a 4-0 lead to draw 4-4 with Salford. Southport coming unstuck 1-3 to Alfreton. Chorley done 0-1 by Boston. Bradford and Darlington losing a bit of ground behind us. Blyth stitched up by North Ferriby 1-0 York and Spennymoor not playing That could have all ended very much worse.
PS Brackley beat Wealdstone 2-0 (3-0 on aggregate) and will play Bromley in the FA Trophy Final. What could have been ?

A long way to go, but great to still have something to play for. A full week to prepare for BPA, who'll have a couple of players suspended after getting two red cards today. Win there and there'll be a big crowd on Easter Monday!

Excellent result - just as it looked like our season was over we finally string a few results together. Long way still to go though, we go again against Bradford.

Before the game I was having a chat with a couple of Leamington fans who'd been up to Spennymoor on Thursday. They left home at 2pm, arrived with half an hour to spare due to a lorry fire and got home at 4am Friday due to the A1M being shut overnight. They were a bit gloomy about their chances as they didn't rate the keeper but full credit County, we got stuck it them right from the start and thoroughly deserved that. I've never been his biggest fan but credit to Jimmy Ball, another good performance today

Someone on MB is saying that we kicked off both halves, is that true? More to the point, can anything come of it if it's true?
Thank you in advance,
Mildly concerned, Liverpool.

I spoke to Tony Breedon (their normal GK) who missed the match due to being red carded and he said County are a class act. Apparently he's back for their next match.
I really enjoyed the match and the fluidity of the passing and using the wings was a pleasnt surprise not least the scoreline.
Onwards and upwards...four-nil, four nil, four nil, four nil. Must be some time since we last sang that.

I'd imagine it would go down as a refereeing mistake, like when a red card gets rescinded, or that time Poll booked a player three times. Nothing to do with us.
As somebody on YB has commented, they did get to kick off four times anyway.

Cheers, jlc. That "kicked off four times" comment was quality!

I am sure the FA will "find" a rule to thwart us (again).
Interestingly, Spennymoor are away to Harrogate on Tuesday and Blyth are at Salford. York host Southport on the same night.
