You know what to do...

No 'Take Five' piece to accompany the match on this occasion. I have already covered under previous ones Kidderminster Harriers themselves, the FA Trophy and most of County's previous Second Round ties in the competitions, so was a tad stuck for material.
I did try looking into doing something that would connect County and the number 13 (tomorrow's date) with both bad and good fortune - but, what with one thing and another, ran out of time to do it justice. Perhaps some other time... if anyone still wants to read it!
But one thing worth mentioning is the last occasion when we played on 13th January. It was also an away-match in the Trophy, albeit a replay - and we went for six at Wrexham!
Something of a demon to exorcise tomorrow, three years on, then...

So it sounds like we're without Warburton but it's encouraging to know that we're now in a position where we could field a strong starting 11 without both of our top scorers (should they be injured, need resting or be out of form) and not fear anyone: Hinchliffe, Cowan, Smalley, O'Halloran, Duxbury, Stopforth, Ball, Thomas, Dixon, Stephenson and Turner.
Dixon was rightly praised in that interview for his intensity on Saturday. If he can pair his technique with that kind of desire and application on and off the ball, it's not hard to see the difference he could make.

Saw that come up and thought we had signed a new striker !!
Seems like a defeat today after being 2-0 up. Ah well, would have taken that before kick-off.

Those Flash Scores folk really must stop taking my tweets too literally!

It must be tempting to go with Bohan Cruyff just to get it up on Flashscores!
Anyway, it's a Tuesday night replay at EP, probably in snowy conditions if the forecast is correct!
If I've tallied correctly (*puts on Statto specs*) then Ormson's penalty save avoided us getting into double-figure concessions from the penalty spot for the season so far. Are we trying for a world record?!

Nice goal... Dazzler with the cross, Jase with the header!

Well before the match I would have taken a draw but to be honest it feels like a loss today. Just home after mulling over the game as I negotiated the M42 and M6.
First half was a fairly non event, both sides creating the odd chance but also cancelling each other out. Ormson did make some super saves when they got an opportunity, and if he had not been on form they could easily have scored 3. But they did not instead Stephenson turned went away down the left, deep cross and County's No 9 headed home.
Second half was much more Kidderminster led, but against the run of play Stephenson shot home through a crowd of legs and the 190 fans from SK3 went bonkers!
Penalty far end - fabulous save from Ormson
Then 2 goals for the hosts - second looked like it was a howler from the defence but I need to see it again. Kiddy were well on top and could have scored again and again.
But with 2 to play Kiddy's centre half got a 2nd yellow for knocking Stephenson to the ground, we start to breathe again.
Then with the very last kick of the match McKenna whistled a 20 yard shot just past the upright - I think it was very close but on the far side of the goal from me, so it might have been a way off, perhaps Maccy may have had a better view?
So its a replay on Tuesday, and we still stand a good chance, remember they are a full time outfit and slightly higher up the table from us - so all in all a good result.
Men of the match - Stephenson and Ormson - I'll give my vote to Ormson
Just one moan, I know they reduced the entry price by a couple of quid but £5 to park, did they put the price up to compensate??
I'll have County Player on on Tuesday night, hopefully it will be a great cup tie

Not all that close from our near-side view, matey - which does at least, I guess, make the need for a replay slightly less agonising!

Great header from Oswell - a real old-fashioned centre-forward's goal, that!
