Anymore for any more ?
Time for a decision Eppers, unless someone has a late entry to pen.
I will be setting 2 limericks up this week for Curzon and Alfreton (part 1) as I am away over Christmas. Usual handing-on format will take place.
After the Boxing Day game we will have a mid-season scores-on-the-doors heads-up. Should be close as we have been sharing the winners spot around, I believe.

I’ll get to it this evening, len, if that’s ok. Family outing to see the ballet in Leeds first.

Enjoy the ballet Eppers. We went 10 years ago when in St Petersburg. Couldn't believe how noisy the dancers were with their feet.
We had an excellent evening at the Halle (Bridgewater Hall) on Friday. What a cultured lot we are here on Heaven.

We had an excellent evening at the Halle (Bridgewater Hall) on Friday. What a cultured lot we are here on Heaven. Can't compete with St Perersburg, len. Leeds Theatre Grand for us. Little Mermaid - music and dancing was amazing, but the story wasn't great (original Hans Christian Anderson). We've been for the last 3 years and seen: Peter Pan, Nutcracker and Beauty and the Beast. What did you see at Bridgewater Hall? We've been for the last 3 years to the Halle Family Christmas Concert - it's brilliant. We missed it this year as I was abroad, unfortunately.

Anyway, enough of this culture lark. Here are the results:
Third is macc with: Three hundred rhymes? Cue pats on backs. A very good line from someone who has probably entered all 300!
Second is ceefer with: We’ll nail this one so all relax! Wise advice, sir, wise advice
First is lennie with: As sweet as the song of a plectrophenax !! I'm a sucker for a new word, and lennie delivers. Although, let's be honest, it's 300 up for the great man of rhyme, so he'd have won even if he hadn't entered a line. 'A fix,' you say? Too right, and proud.
Thanks to all who entered and, wherever you are and what ever you're doing, stop it. Be up standing and raise a glass to the lennie, rhymster and CH contributor extraordinaire.

Cheers for the Bronze, anyway, matey. And well done to Ceefer and, especially, Lennie. A more fitting winner on this auspicious occasion there could surely not be.

Brilliant !! Cheers Eppers.
Very much appreciated and an honour to serve all you Heaveners each week.
Thanks to all for entering, every week. Nice podiums from Macca and Ceefer.
Now what can we conjure up for The Nash this week. Watch this space.
(PS Bridgewater Hall on Friday was the Halle Orchestra led by Norwegian violin Maestro Henning Kraggerud playing Grieg's Holberg Suite, Pachebelle's Canon and Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Part of their Christmas programme. Quite fantastic and extremely powerful).
