Good evening everyone!
I mentioned in our first article of the season that the reason you’re now regularly stuck reading the ramblings of two slightly-unhinged men approaching middle-age (well, Maccy’s been middle-aged for a while) is that our good friend ‘Big Fudge’ will not be with us for much longer.... He’s fine, don’t worry, he’s just leaving to study in Canada - and tonight will be his last game for a while.
Fudgie has been responsible for not only initiating the County Heaven article, but also for conducting a number of player interviews over the past year and reporting from away games for those that couldn’t make it. Everyone at CHHQ wishes him well on his travels.
When he leaves for Vancouver, Fudgie will be taking with him a large blue and white hat, with which he will be posing at a famous Vancouverian landmark before sending it onwards around the world as part of our new “Where the hell is hat?” feature. If you’re planning on an overseas trip, or a visit to a well-known landmark, why not drop us a line and see if the hat is available to join you?!
Over to you Maccy...

Diolch yn fawr iawn, Sandy bach, a chroeso i’n ymwelwyr o Wrecsam!
One player to whom, as it turns out, we can’t extend that welcome tonight is the visitors’ Number One, Joslain Mayebi. He would, I guess, have been keen to return to SK3 and avenge his uncharacteristic error that helped to hand County the points here back in February. Instead of our greetings, though, he is due our congratulations, having this week been called up for international duty by Cameroon - a fantastic achievement for a BSP player.
A cracking match is in prospect under the lights at EP. Wrexham currently find themselves in third place, after beating highly-fancied Forest Green over the weekend, and have only suffered one defeat so far this term. County, however, have run into a bit of form themselves of late, and confidence will surely be building up in the course of what is now a four-match unbeaten spell. All the more so following that victory on home turf against Ebbsfleet - the first at EP since the season’s opening day.
So, can we slay the Dragons? Well...having grabbed the Bulls by the horns, and won, at Edgar Street on Saturday, it’s the next logical challenge!
Enjoy the game.
