I too went with FIFA, for obvious reasons. On the topic of Facebook though, I may have a go at making a case for it here. I've used Facebook for about a year properly and in that time Facebook has literally been the only place, other than here, where people have actually spoke (yes, it's not technically speaking) with me. If it weren't for Facebook, I may have given up on people altogether so it's been a life-saver, quite literally. I know it has it's downsides, lime the fact that as I type this the servers are down for the sixth time today but I know that I have the site to thank for a lot of things, including getting into what I do at County, which is where I met Maccy, who is why I'm here. So, when you think about, without Facebook, I wouldn't be a member here. Though that may be another reason to dislike it.

Fast food is appalling in terms of the quality and quantity of food. I bought a 'regular portion' of chips last week it filled two 12 inch plates, I wonder why we have an obesity crisis.. Then there is the tremendous quantities of waste they produce. If you look at the rubbish blowing around in your local town centre just see how much is made of refuse from take aways.
Facebook - yes it's nonsense, I am on there under a pseudonym, and I have no desire to know what anyone is up to who doesn't keep me personally up to date. There are a number of other equally ridiculous social media outlets that stop families and couples talking whilst out - I actually banned phones from our meal times when the children lived at home especially if we were out. A couple of weeks ago we went out for my wife's Nan's 90th birthday. At the table next door a group of 9 young (20s) people were literally all looking at their screens...
FIFA. Absolute bunch of crooks and criminals finally getting their cumuppence from law enforcement agencies. But if we send them into obscurity they will get away with it.
Having just eaten a meal including pumpkins and potatoes grown by my own hand and harvested after a summer of tending I feel I need to send lazy fast food eateries away as they stop many people from appreciating the glory of fresh home produced food.

Fast food is rubbish in taste and being good for you but when you're drunk or hungover it's sometimes the perfect antidote required to get you back on your feet!! I'm pretty sure everyone has woken up on Sunday morning hungover like mad and gone for a quarter pounder meal at 11 o'clock in the morning? So for that reason I cant go for fast food.
FIFA, everyone's know for years that they are more corrupt than the mafia so it's nothing new what they've finally been investigated for so dispute the utter hatred i have for Blatter and the whole organisation of running our beautiful game I cant go for them either because it's nothing new.
So that leaves Facebook for me, everyone is so interested in other peoples lives that they forgot to live their own!! I don't need to see a photo of every meal your eating, or whether your awake at 3 in the morning. Put your phones away and go and spend time and see your actual friends please.

If FIFA didn't exist we'd probably need to invent it.
Facebook can be a pain but I can ignore most of it and it does have a handy back-up to text or email with its messenger.
So, I'm with Duds on fast food joints for the reasons already given plus the fact that I'm about 2 miles from one in a semi-rural area and you regularly see cups and wrappings with that big M logo just discarded on the verge. I know they're forced to clean up local to them but, for me, all their containers, wrapping and implements should have to be biodegradeable.

I know they're forced to clean up local to them but, for me, all their containers, wrapping and implements should have to be biodegradeable. THIS ^^^ Another thing that really grinds my gears whenever I've visited these places, is the sheer bone-idleness of some customers. Even when the bin is actually on the way to the door, they still leave their tables cluttered with sh*t. I always cleaned my table and cleared away my rubbish before leaving, regardless of whose job it is. The nature of those establishments means that someone is more often than not going to be sitting at your vacated table within the next few minutes, and we all know what it's like to find the only free table piled high with sh*t from the last people that used it. I know it's someone's job to do it, but ffs how hard IS it to put your crap on a tray and slide it into the bin on your way out? I don't know why they don't just install 'all you can eat' troughs for some of the pigs that eat there!

All you can eat? Now I'm changing my mind. I see all those buffets as a challenge to see how much I can eat. I do like to have to undo a button after a good meal

FIFA take it, rather comfortably in the end.
