The opening to one of the comments sums it up perfectly for me: "There’s lies, damn lies, and then there’s Johnson!"How this is being allowed to continue is a disgrace, but Google are a bunch of sh*t houses too for facilitating it. Gang of crooks.

The entire system is rotten to the core. In the absence of laws that make the decision makers at Google responsible before the law for allowing publication of this kind of thing one might forgive them for following the instinct to make a profit, thereby maximising shareholder value.
Unfortunately the chances of anybody addressing the issue is virtually zero since the makers of the law are the very people and organisations lying through their back teeth in Google "adverts". Seriously, I'm coming to the conclusion that violence is the only think these b*st*rds will understand.

And the genuinely depressing feature of this is that those who think Johnson and his mates are "telling it like it is" or believe "that they are all as bad as each other" lack the self awareness to realise that they are being taken for a bunch of mug punters by a party that no longer seeks to hide its dishonesty. Almost as depressing as this from the Independent which reports that once the BBC has misrepresented Johnson. Following on from its "mistake" earlier this month "the BBC has admitted to making a "mistake" when it edited footage of Boris Johnson to remove the sound of an audience laughing at him. During the Question Time special in which each of the main party leaders were questioned by the public, some of those watching in the studio could be heard laughing after the PM was asked whether he thought the "truth matters". But in later video of the same event shown on BBC News, the laughter was removed. The edit gave rise to suggestions the video had been changed to make it less embarrassing to the Conservative leader. I can think of no better justification for no longer taking any notice of any of the BBC's news reporting since it has clearly taken to fabricating stories that portray the sainted Johnson as anything other than what he is.
