County Counts Ep3 In a slightly longer podcast than usual, Noel Keeper and Phil Back bring you County Counts Episode 3. We cover the previous matches starting with the 4-3 win against StalyVegas. The 'body slam' gets yet another outing! And we discuss both the on-field and off-field elements of the fans forum in depth with guest Dave Schofield.

Agreed, great stuff.
Dave speaks very well but seemed to do a lot of moaning without offering any solutions.
If Richard Park and all the other shareholders write off their debts then Spencer Fearn will write of his £275k. That's brilliant.
I'm struggling with the 5,000 fans that he says are out there willing to fund the buy-back of Edgeley Park. When was the last time there was 5,000 at a home game? And how many were fair weather fans having their once-yearly outing?
Will 100 supporters by a 10 year season ticket for £2,500 to pay the deposit on EP? Dave says that doesn't need discussing as it's in the bag.
I suppose we'll find out if it's a goer after the meeting with the Co-op next week.

cheers binbag. very interesting that. i hope these carry on in the long term.
agree with downy that it's hard to stack those figures up - outside the remaining core support i'm not sure how many are that interested in anything other than the results. quite sobering to hear how close we still are to the brink, after a year of what many of us have seen as progress - as he said "if richard park is having to write a cheque to pay a £20k bill to the government, we're f***ed". we're still losing money. a very good podcast, but a bit depressing.

Hopefully we'll get the Coop on next time. I want these podcasts to be as open and level as possible. The view being that we should all be pulling in the direction.
