Here is our contribution to today's reduced-in-length programme. Delighted to have made the cut for this, so that the CH sponsored walk to Hyde could be publicised further. Make a note of 28th March in your diaries, and email/PM Sandy about joining in, if you haven't already!

Good afternoon, everyone. And, by way of a greeting for our visitors – the like of whom seem, right now, to be making their way to Edgeley Park from across the border every other game – Croeso i Wrecsam! The Red Dragons will doubtless feel properly warmed up for today’s big tie, following their terrific FA Cup performance, at somewhere called Stoke, last Sunday – which did all Conference clubs proud.
The outcome of County’s own four-fixture festive schedule ended up looking very balanced on paper, with an away win at Colwyn Bay, a home defeat to Tamworth and the Bradford postponement following our Boxing Day draw with The Bay. The two January matches saw us, respectively, welcome back Jack Ryan, before saying hello for the first time to Greg Wilkinson, and we wish each player every success during his current loan-spell at EP.
As is also customary whenever a player departs from SK3, County Heaven bids farewell to Jamie Milligan, and wishes him well at Harrogate... other than for his new club’s final fixture this season, obviously!
And now, over to my esteemed co-contributor with news of an important Springtime event…

Thanks, Maccy!
Let’s start the New Year off with a big announcement, shall we? You may or may not be aware that, in March 2013, a number of Heaveners (and a dog) took part in the first ever “Hatters Hike”, by walking the 13-and-a-bit miles from EP to Moss Rose prior to our match against Macclesfield Town. Not only did everyone complete the challenge, but we raised over £1,800 for Kidscan (a children’s cancer charity based in Salford) in the process.
For a number of reasons, we were unable to repeat the challenge in 2014 but, as luck would have it, the only feasible fixture this season – Hyde away – falls on the same weekend as last time. So, come Saturday, 28th March, almost exactly two years on, we will again be walking for charity as part of “Hatters Hike To Hyde 2015”! In fact, since the distance from EP to Ewen Fields is just under half that covered last time, it seemed only right that we walk there AND back to make it more of a challenge!
We will again be raising funds for Kidscan who, if you didn’t know, work tirelessly in researching cures for childhood cancer, and further details of the walk can be found at www.justgiving.com/hattershike2015. If you would like to donate to our cause, or if you fancy joining us on the walk (everyone is welcome, and you only have to walk one way if you wish!), please contact me at sandbachhatter@hotmail.co.uk.
Enjoy the match.
