Not banner related as such... but have the news buttons been changed to flat designs rather than bevelled? If so, I prefer them Good Work. If not... ...erm... News buttons? You mean 'New post'/'No new post' images? If so, then yes, I hated them too and just kept forgetting to change them, it's my age you see!

Thirded - excellent work, Gaz-man. Nice to see the 'for one night in Blackburn only' Romanian shirt in there, too!

Thanks, Maccy! I thought I'd use shirts linked with great County memories, and although the odd one out is the 'Wembley only then farmed off to Rochdale' shirt (it was of course a game that ended in disappointment), THAT chant and subsequent goal still ranks as my greatest ever experience supporting County.

i still like that mental '94 one, even though it's inextricably linked to that play-off defeat, and a broken looking kev and preecey after.

Ah yes, it's difficult to look at that shirt and not have immediate flashbacks to Wembley and that glass back cheating toss rag McMinn and co, but I've included it for that Preecey goal and win v QPR. b*ll*cks to Wembley '94 though, that QPR game was one of the very best atmospheres I've ever witnessed at EP, and those fans who have in the past mentioned the Railway End shaking after Preecey's scorcher weren't kidding! Got goosebumps now just thinking about that goal flying in.

was on the popside, so wasn't responsible for the railway end 'quake. i've seen the '94 shirt criticised, including, i think, in a 4-4-2 piece on the worst shirts ever. i still think it's one of the standouts in your banner.
horrible day though. "f**kin' hell...he's sent beaumont off now as well!"

horrible day though. "f**kin' hell...he's sent beaumont off now as well!" Worst day ever supporting County, even worse than at Brum when they smashed our coach window on the way in. I went with my brother and a minibus full of my work mates, and we were drinking all the way there. To this day I do not know what possessed us to do it, but we went to the Torch for a pint, and it was FULL of Burnley fans, the car park was heaving with claret and blue and we walked through them to the sound of literally hundreds of inbreds singing "You must have come in a taxi". I kid you not this really did happen and I still shudder and wonder how we got out of there in one piece, but we were absolutely rat arsed by the time we got to Wembley, so maybe the danger element just didn't register. Inside the pub my brother got punched by some brave six-fingered merchant. The dick head hit our kid on the back of the head with an empty can as he was ordering a pint, he wasn't even allowed to turn around properly before the hero punched my brother, really hard and square in the face. Our kid just stood there looking at him, totally unrattled (he's a big handy lad our kid), the Burnley goon was then ushered away by some decent Burnley fans who gave him a load of verbals and took him outside away from us. We then chatted to some other Burnley fans who were good lads while we finished our drinks, and then set off for the stadium. Inside Wembley, I can't remember too much at all. I missed Chris heading us in front, but I do remember being jumped on from both sides by our kid and a workmate, and ending up on the floor and under the seats. I did see Elleray ignore John Francis doing his best to take Keeley's head off, I missed both incidents that led to the red cards, but when I saw Chris walking off I sobered up instantly, Chris sent off? What next, Elvis being found alive and well and living in Edgeley? I still don't know what happened with Chris, or Mike Wallace to this day, Wallace was supposedly done for spitting on McNoleg, but I was way too drunk to remember. All in all it was probably for the best that I was totally sh*t faced. That's why I still can't stand Burnley. As for Jimmy "once we got the referee on our side..." Mullen, I'm glad to see he did f**k all of note after Burnley f**ked him off. How's that pie, Jimmy? w**ker.
