Not seen much of it so far, but watching Bryan Ferry at the moment.
Brilliant.

Not seen any of it, matey, I'm watching the Rik Mayall tribute slot on Gold.
Bryan Ferry is coolness personified though.

Manics and Kaisers put in their usual top class big stage performance.
The guitar duo Rodrigo and Gabrielle were excellent. Vibrant and technically brilliant.

In addition to the brilliant set from Mr. Cool, I saw Dolly Parton today, a very impressive set .

Macc, I've listened over the airwaves to several tributes to the great man during the last couple of weeks, which has really highlighted just how brilliant a soul singer he truly was.

He was that, Rog. And throughout a lengthy career, covering myriad styles, too. His early '60s classics were, for me, at least equalled, two decades later by The Poet II album, and, just the year before last, by The Bravest Man in the Universe. A fitting epitaph, as it turned out.
