Does DC know his preferred starting XI, can he even field his preferred starting XI given the number of injuries we've picked up pre-season?
At least we're starting at home, but it says something about my expectations when I'll be happy to open up with a point.

I shall do my best to advise them from our view in the Cheadle End! I missed the whole of our time in League 2 so I am very much looking forward to watching this one! Up the Hatters. (I’d also take a point right now!)

That aside this seems to be an encouraging start to L1. Should be at least 5 to the good, with better linesman, better finishing and a bit more luck. |

f*** off, Sky, piss-poor quality service today. It went off a few times during the game, but now it's off completely on any game you try to view.
Not good.

Sky very poor all afternoon with the earlier games as well.
That looked like a comfortable win. Barry will be picked out by the opposition in future games as a danger man. Surprised to see a new keeper starting and a new captain from the signings. But we have to assume DC knows his squad and what he is doing.
Collar was nowhere near off side and that would have settled the game very early (and given me another 25 points in Ceefer's prediction league).
The League Table makes very easy reading, but with much more difficult days to come.
