Either change this up, Dave or tomorrow morning you're gonna be looking back on a bad night at EP.
Rubbish so far, second best in every department. Only Powell and Tanto have earned their money so far tonight, the rest are playing like they've just done a 12-hour shift before turning up for the game.

That's me switching off, I've got to be up at 20 to 5 in the morning and I'm not going to bed in a f***ing rage being beaten by that disgusting bunch.
Absolutely f***ing diabolical, and it's only going to get worse tonight.

Incredibly slow out of the blocks tonight. Powell conceded a FK near the half way line on an opponent going away from goal, we failed to win the subsequent ball in or the second ball. Goal.
What should have been a simple ball back to Hinchliffe from Cass turned into Cass instead clearing down the line and out of play. He headed out the throw for a corner and we never cleared it beyond the edge of the box, leading the next phase and an uncontested cross in, which was finished very easily.
Their third came when Camps got under the header, leading to them through on goal but it was stopped for another corner. And, yet again, we just didn't defend our goal with any physicality and urgency.
All 3 goals tonight were a series of self-sabotage moments and we absolutely deserved nothing from the game.
Olaofe did a lot of work trying to turn nothing into something, especially first half and it was pleasing to see that rewarded. There were also a couple of lovely sequences of passing through the left side of the pitch in the first half involving our Bristow, Powell, Sarce, Madden and Olaofe.
But really tonight was a reminder of what lacking absolute basics looks like. I don't think the make-up of the side was right from the off - having Cass RCB and CLE RWB looked very wrong and I couldn't see how that was ever working - but still, it doesn't excuse being second where it mattered most (in and around the boxes).
Onw to forget, made better by the glance at the league table of course!
C'mon, lads. Let's see a showing worthy of the squad next time.

Well that was a bad night at the office wasn't it! I don't need to bang on about how awful we were as I think everyone know's just how poor we were. But I will say again what I've said so many times already this season, I really don't know how Croasdale gets in the team, he is so slow, a poor decision maker and passer. At least when we get promotion he wont be in the team next season as he's not a league 1 player. Madden is another that won't be in the team next season either in league 1. It was a bad night for everyone last night, Tanto getting the man of the match award? He did nothing but steal a goal on the line. Anyway, rant over, We can't change what happened, just put things right for Saturday.

I don't think any of them covered themselves in glory, but if the rest of the side had Powell's commitment and desire from the kick-off, it could have been a different result last night - he was the only one who genuinely looked like he was up for it.
I don't get how Touray is still getting game time right now, because I just don't think he brings anything to the side other than something else to worry about.
I don't like slagging players off, because we don't know what goes on behind the scenes and in their personal lives, but I'm just saying what I see, and in Touray I don't see a player that gives me any confidence.

Was there last night expecting a real derby match. In reality there was only one team up for the challenge. Even the County fans were second best. Totally agree that Powell was the stand out but you didn’t need to do much to achieve that. I didn’t see his quality initially but last night there were glimpses of what he’s about. Olaofe did try got his goal ended up motm as there was no other worthy to give it to. I think DC also attributed to the bad performance as the team didn’t look balanced. Even when he made an wholesale change at half time that didn’t work. I don’t think a few of the players knew what role they had & weren’t playing to their strengths. In particular Bailey was playing in the middle & looked lost. There were too many of the same type of player on the pitch. I hope not but this could be the start of a shaky patch as the pressures build. As mentioned previously, we’ve been lucky with previous results going our way to maintain our top position. But the likes of Mansfield with their quality & consistency including Crewe could now push on & overtake us.

Having watched the highlights and DC’s post match interview, this highlights the paradox of football management/coaching.
Scoring from a set play = good
Conceding from a set play = terrible
