gazz, i take it you've noted that 'gotham' starts on monday on channel 5?!? bit of a coup for them and that's probably two thirds of their budget spent for the next three years. look forward to more 'britain's deadliest earwigs' filler now...

Not today but really enjoyed the Guy Martin with Spitfire rebuild. Would have been good to have a longer programme and add more footage of the rebuild, but understand the history is important. What a plane and would love to fly in one, even experience the massive g force..

after my mum gave it a glowing review i've been itvplayer-ing 'the lost honour of christopher jefferies'. it was a two parter last week about the bristol landlord of the young woman who went missing and was murdered in 2010. he was a bit of an eccentric, and consequently the media had a field day, even though he was innocent. haven't watched it all yet but it's been very good so far. thought i'd mention it as the first episode only has a couple of days left on itv player. www.itv.com/itvplayer/the-lost-honour-of-christopher-jefferies/series-1/episode-2irritatingly i've had to disable adblock plus on 4od and itv-player in order to use them. i can understand why but it's still a bit annoying. while watching '...christopher jefferies', every single ad-break has had the M&S fairies, and more annoyingly, an ee interactive advert which is short...but then won't allow you to close it for 20 seconds. each break.

I remember the media hysteria, and the unflattering photos they were printing of Jeffries before they found the real killer.
Gutter press in full effect dragging an innocent man through the mud because he fitted their stereotypical blueprint of a murder suspect.
Cheers, ars, I might have a look at that.

Recently watched 3 series back to back all excellent;
Parks & Recreation a recommendation of a_r_s absolutely excellent watched it twice back to back.
Arrested Development, a recommendation of sandy, again very funny and well worth a watch.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Well worth a watch as well, all very American but great if you like a bit of light comedy.
