100 appearance cap for Macca at half-time, which is fantastic but it really should have been closer to 150.
Hopefully he can soon get back to fitness, back to his best and start clocking up many more.
Get back soon, Macca & indeed everyone else still struggling with injuries - and can someone PLEASE give that black cat a comfy bed and stay the f*** out of its way!

Should have had a penalty there, but that goal of theirs was f***ing awful defending.
P**s-poor.

Nigel Clough is one whingeing little tw##, in fact the lot of them are. Their behaviour with Kyle Knoyle flattened is disgusting.
Please let him be okay, that was sickening, he was out cold.

Horrible team this lot. Dirty, cynical whingeing bunch. I'm really surprised Clough has ended up resorting to this type of stuff, which completely goes against the grain of everything his Dad believed in.
He's just a moaning little sh*t these days.

I don't rate Touray at all, and I've seen him a few times now - his crossing has been dire.
I don't think Camps is up to much either when you need some inspiration from him.
The only time we've had any invention has been since Powell came on.

Aaaand that's game over, what a f***ing horrible game, what the f***ing hell was that for that second goal?
f*** off, luck, f*** off, Clough and f*** off, Mansfield. Horrible, horrible bunch.
I really hope Kyle Knoyle is okay, that's all I'm arsed about now. The rest of the day can just f*** right off and I hope the Mansfield coach blows its engine on the way back.

Well, the team didn't get the memo that it was my first visit to EP in 9 years and the first ever visit for my son. We were bang average and the game wasn't very exciting. We seemed to have lots of possession, but it was mainly sideways and backward to Ben to launch it up to Wootten. We were then hoping for a lucky bounce to give us a chance. Mansfield were too well organised and clever for us to get many chances playing that way. They fell over if we breathed on them and the ref fell for it. Not a nice team, but they don't get judged on being nice, they get judged on results and I think they deserved the win. We didn't show any real urgency in the final third until the 13 mins of injury time. No one really stood out for MoM - not sure how Camps got it. We were generally solid at the back but really lacked any creativity. Might have been different if Powell started instead of Madden (who did very little today). Our aim has to be to pull away from the pack with Mansfield and Wrexham and be in the top 3 at the end of the season.

But I don't want all that to detract from a special day. My son had the idea for the Christmas present and then got the tickets. He's actually a Blades fan and all our live sport is ice hockey, so it was all because he knew I'd love to go to EP.

I had absolutely no expectations of a win, based on the fact we have so many injuries, are running out of steam and creativity is sadly lacking. Add to that the dire performance at Grimsby last Jan 1st.
Looking forward to Wilson using his strong City connections and announcing some good loan transfers from City or wherever else he has worked at.

Glad I’ve been away not to see that one. Listening to DC’s post match, he is again very critical of some players as not listening to instructions either on or off the field. So when will they start to take any notice. Why are players experiencing these injuries? Some he says by making some simple misjudgments due to lack of communication with the example of Knoyle’s coming together. He was also asked is he involved with recruitment? Well he better be as some of these current players need shipping out. Tourey was supposed to be the best thing! For me, Bailey is the only recent quality addition but his return looks unlikely. Another obvious mistake was letting Ben Whitfield go. He seems to have flourished at Barrow & has taken up a strikers role. How many goals has he scored! The team have been very lucky to have maintained their league position & now could be the slide down especially with teams having games in hand. Who ever is brought in to steady the ship, has to be right no questions. Problem is where from? All teams are looking to strengthen for the second half of the season. As for Simon Wilson’s Man City contacts, don’t rely on that any time soon.
