A return to EP - and a guaranteed full house - next, with the visit of our near-ish, noisy North Welsh muckers.
Post it all here...

I wonder if it'll be Sunny in Edgeley for this one?

It's bloody sunny alright - 3-0 at half-time!
Does anyone know if the Brett Angell & Neil Matthews record of scoring in 6 consecutive games still stood before today?
If so, add Louis Barry to that list now. Can he go on and break it? What a signing he's been.

That's absolutely f***ing savagely hilarious, Duds! If only Frankie Vaughan was still around, we could have hired him to stand on the roundabout at the Armoury to welcome them to Edgeley with a rendition...

Massive congrats to DC, his staff and players, that's an incredible statement from the team! I'm really pleased for Tanto!
Whoever it was that was responsible for bringing Barry in deserves a massive pat on the back, even if it was (cough) Wilson.
Where there's huge credit for the goalscorers, I think equally as important was the clean sheet, for which the defence deserves every bit as much.
Stunning win!

That will certainly make a few people sit up and take notice.
That match alone will make the subscription to "Rob and Ryan TV" worth it. Unless of course the episode this week gets pulled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Congratulations to DC and the boys for delivering one of the most clinical performances I can recall.
Wrexham failed to take their early chance in the opening 5, Mullin hitting tamely straight at Ben's feet.
Minutes passed and neither side were playing with particular confidence, both giving off a rather tentative "don't lose" vibe and cancelling each other out.
Enter play-a-maker Hinchliffinho, picking a beauty of a ball down beyond their defence for Collar to chase. And chase he did, crossing for Olaofe's first. We were sat right behind the Hinchcliffe launch and it was something akin to a wonderful golf shot. Glorious.
Although we scored 'better' goals, the 2nd was actually my favourite. Tanto works incredibly hard for us off the ball and so much of it, naturally, comes to nothing. Forcing a throw or poor clearance never gets recorded. So when such effort literally converts into a goal I just think it's a great reward not only for the player but in setting the tone of the game and putting our 'in the stands' identity out there on the pitch.
Wrexham handled the following 2 minutes with all the calm of a poundland gigolo overdosing on Viagra. Like a lubed-up (oh, god.. I can't stop now) studmuffin, Barry penetrated Wrexham with his masterful close control. Having cut inside a lot previously, this time he trusted his left and delivered the perfect finish. Great stuff from the youngster, who is now not looking as 'head down' but more 'fantastically effective in his final third work'. If he continues to develop like this, he will surely make a very good career for himself in the higher reaches.
A standing ovation for our lads at HT and a quick reflection between dad and son on this being a nice (belated) birthday present for Mini-Herm.
Wrexham were out early, no doubt having had a rocket. A rocket proved not to enough to change the game though as, just 5 minutes later, Tanto earned himself the match ball.
Madden did well when he came on and got he 5th, controlling Barry's cross from the right and prodding home.
The game's final minutes played out to the soundtrack:"Wrexham get battered everywhere they go"... and today it was certainly the case. Even if we've had more good times than bad in recent history, such days are still rare for players and supporters. How good it was that it happened against a rival. Lovely stuff.

It was funny hearing the boos every time Mullin touched the ball. He appears to be stealing a wage from the Hollywood B listers. I was nervous pre match thinking this could be an embarrassing loss, but it was superb to be able to dish out a beating to that lot. Irrational but I really do not like Hollywood, Disney and Wrecksome, so it made my day. A superb day , superb performance from the lads, and we are back on course now. What makes it even better is they couldn't believe they were being beaten and 5-0 at that
