Here we go again for Season 9 in the ever-youthful Limerick Lounge Lyrical Rascality.
This week is just a warm-up run out to get those rhyming rhythms rolling before the really thing in August. What better time to start as we bring T'Rovers and the Nob-enders to EP to celebrate 140 years of the joy, despair, celebration and tears that goes with supporting Stockport County.
One Forty Years - the time has flown by. Happy Birthday dear County - fly "high" ! Through thin and some thinner We all love a winner. ........................................................
All welcome to take part. The rules are quite easy. Be rude, amusing, serious or just plain daft. Rhyme the last line with the first two. Have as many attempts as you wish. I will pick a winner who will then judge the season opener against Gillingham next time ....... and so on throughout the season until we have an overall champion.
Archie will defend his title with venom and style. It's always very close on the final countdown. Have fun.
Just a thought County were already 70 years old when I was born, scary.
