Best performance all season by Sarcevic. Clearly a player for the big occasion, and one who could/should play a key role a week hence. Agreed, Maccy, he really stepped up yesterday and I'm sure Wembley will bring the best out of him. |

Fantastic - the atmosphere was electric and the support during the penalty shoot out was immense. Just superb all round and echo what has already been said about Ben H. I didn't think we would do it with all the injuries, so great to see Paddy, Will and Sarce back. This is interesting to read, because I had seen on Twitter about how noisy it was but Sky seemed to have the fan microphones turned off and the noise I could see o. People faces wasn’t reflected in the coverage. My brother, who lives near Stepping Hill said he heard our first goal go in from his back garden. He had joined us in front of the tv for the end of the game! |

It was great to see Sarcevic pointing towards Ben while running to hug him after he buried the winning penalty, after a season of frustration I'm sure he would have been forgiven if he'd just wanted to lap up the glory for himself, but that was real classy from him.
Speaking of Sarcevic, did one of the Salford players push him over in the aftermath of Tanto's goal?

It looked like play-acting to us and delayed the restart when we had the momentum. He played a blinder though.
