Yes - I like Flynn, too. He also did well with some high-profile Cup runs whilst at Newport, and always came across in interviews back then as a decent, fair-minded sort.
You can bet, though, that he'll have Walsall well and truly fired up for revenge against us a week tomorrow!

Going back to Macca, does anyone have any info regarding his injury and how long he's expected to be out? Not seen a precise timeline, matey - but am, I fear, pretty sure that it could now be a few weeks.

Going back to Macca, does anyone have any info regarding his injury and how long he's expected to be out? I have read somewhere that DC has alluded to the fact that, because he's very slight in build, he's always going to be susceptible to these kind of injuries. That may be a factor, but referees need to start clamping down early on players that are clearly targeting him, as he's been on the end of some horrendous challenges. Otherwise, what's the point in him carrying cards in his bloody pocket? It needs sorting out before the lad gets seriously hurt. 100% Gazzman.
The players need more protection from the referees and the best way is for them to take action early on so the opposition don't think they can get away with it. Add Croasdale and Collar as well, and also Wootton has had his fair share of skullduggery. Hope MSH is back soon.

Best counter to that is for us to score early and deflate their balloons...
Add the twelfth man to the equation and we should win this encounter...not counting chickens yet.
