He's definitely a big miss and a hard act to follow for Lewis. I'm not sure if Olaofe is cup tied or not.... Going off the press release when terms were agreed, Olaofe has only played 3 games for Millwall this season, two sub appearances in the Championship and one in the Carabao Cup so he shouldn't be cup-tied for the FA Cup. Thanks you are right. Hopefully he will get a run out.

I hope Olaofe isn't "Frozen" out ! It'll be good "Sven" we see him play.
"Anna" nother thing, maybe I'll just "Let it Go", "Elsa" I might get upset.
If he doesn't play he might be a bit "Krist-off".
This is the problem with having 3 grand-daughters !!!!!

Robbie Willmott joins the Saddlers - Walsall Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of versatile midfielder Robbie Willmott on a loan deal from Newport County until the end of the season.
He may be cup tied.....he was on the bench against Derby County.

How can 9178 be a sell out? Anyone ITK, or is this a tax dodge?

No idea about that, Ceefs - but from where I was sitting I could see a good few empty seats, which struck me as odd.

This so called ‘sell out’ was claimed many times last season & for the last match of the season with Halifax. I sit in the main stand & could always see many empty seats & questioned why. I even asked the question to the marketing department. That’s what spurred me to get a season ticket for this campaign. These empty seats could have been the season ticket holders that don’t attend & aren’t resold. I’m currently away so couldn’t make it & by the sounds of it, I didn’t miss much of a County performance. There’s certainly no comments on the match thread.

I really don't know what to say... except we missed a golden opportunity to progress. We were outplayed and beaten by the better team. After Paddy scored we sat back and invited pressure. We should have taken the game to them or at least adopted some of their tactics to lessen their momentum, i.e go down injured. They gave us a masterclass in skullduggery, yet we haven't wised up enough. We lost the high press and so many second balls went begging. Little creativity. Little service for the new boy although he did miss what seemed to a sitter. I'm really disappointed that we couldn't have given them more of a challenge. 3 against 12 corners says it all. Okay sickness has played a part in the prep but don't we have a large squad to cover. Very poor match officials yet again. Harsh, but some of the players really need to step up or be shipped out on loan.
Hey Ho back to the League we go!

The attendance is wrong on the BBC website.

How did Joe Lewis do? Fingers crossed he'll get a bit of a run and get settled into the side.
Having seen the highlights I have to say for the Penalty I think Paddy's decision to kick the ball clear was a bit of a poor one - easy for me to say sat in my chair watching over the internet but maybe he should have tried to shield the ball and then clear it or maybe head it clear?
I still think there is more to come from this squad although right now Johnson and Croasdale appear to be in the dog house - or am I reading too much into them being on the bench?
Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Lewis had a decent game - winning most of his battles in the air, and looking confident on the ball with advances out of defence. For me, a close second to Hussey as our best player yesterday.

Reviewing the highlights, it looks like Hinchliffe misjudged the shot & tipped the ball into his own net. Although it may have been struck nicely it didn’t look that fierce as was reported on the BBC. Walsall’s penalty was another party trick to add to all the theatrics which County still cannot learn to deal with. If the player was so injured as he displayed with his hands over his face & rolling around, why didn’t the referee call the physio over to attend to the head injury. Even his own team mates didn’t show any concerns so that speaks for itself. On another day that might not have been given. I just cannot understand how so many of these referees get taken in by these antics.
